Entry 18:
Is it wrong to be jealous of someone you've never seen or met before? I would think it's wrong... but now... I'm not sure. Maybe it's just the fact that I wish I had something like that. Either way it's jealousy, correct? Why do I bother... I didn't have a chance.... but I'm still sad... In time, will I just drop it and let it flow away? I wonder... will someone be able to make me forget about him?

It's been a whole week since that day at the beach house. Our short break ended about three days ago, and for the remainder of the break, I stayed in m room. Everyone knocked on my door to see if I were okay, but I never answered. Vince ended up staying at my house, even after I started school. He said he was worried about me, and that if it comes to it, he'd even transfer schools to be with me. Even Bex, who had been at the house for our break, noticed something was wrong with me. Bex would always nudge me with a concerned expression. Zavier knew something was wrong after his race with Vince. He wouldn't really talk, he only held a very worried face.
The bell rang signaling the end of the day, and the time to go eat lunch. Today was early release due to an upcoming school event. I got up and left the classroom, following a crowd of students to the lunch area. On early release days, I'd usually go straight home, but today... I just decided to stay. I took a seat where I'd usually sit at lunch. I glanced up, and could clearly see Aiden's head by the vending machine. I sighed, and looked back down at my bag. Bex jumped off my shoulder, and in front of me.
"Even Bex is worried about you. You haven't been talking much for a week," I heard Zavier's voice say. I didn't even sense him sit or even come near me! I didn't say anything. He sighed, "Listen... I'm not exactly one to pry into another's business... but I'm worried about you," he admitted. My head snapped up, and I stared at Zavier with wide eyes. He didn't wear that cocky smirk like he usually did... instead there was a serious expression. "You've been extremely depressed since the day of the race. I'm not sure if you're going to tell me what happened or not, but... you promised to the sea you were going to be happier," he said. He's right...but still...
Zavier glanced up at something, but didn't say anything. I felt something lean against my head, "Honestly, my best friend's upset about something, yet she can't come talk to me," I heard a familiar voice say. I looked up, and saw Carla smiling at me. "Hey~" she said happily. I waved lamely as she sat down towards the right of me. She glared at Xavier, "Seriously. You take my best friend from me, and you can't even support and comfort her correctly," she said, sighing. "Haha... very funny," Zavier said sarcastically. "It is. Anyways... what's wrong Dusk?" she asked, turning towards me. My eyes flicked upward towards Aiden, unintentionally. Carla's eyes immediately followed where my gaze had been, and lifted an eyebrow, "It's that, isn't it???" she asked.
I nodded mutely. "Ahhhh~ I see~" Carla said knowingly. "What? What is it?" Zavier asked. Carla grinned, "A little something happend with someone she likes," she said. Zavier just stared at me, "Is that it?" he asked. I nodded again. He sighed, "He causes nothing but sadness for you, and you guys aren't even dating," he muttered. Carla kicked him from uner the table. "He didn't even flinch, but glared at her. "Get out of here. Obviously you can't read the mood," she said, trying her best to make him leave. "Obviously you can't see that I want to help her," Zavier stated. I sighed, and grabbed my stuff. "See you made her leave!" Carla exclaimed. I stopped, turned around, and forced a smile, "...Guys... I'm fine. I'm just a little shocked on what happened," I said.
They didn't say anything, but silently trailed behind me to my house. Right when we got to the house, the door slammed open, and Vince came running out. "Why're you so late?!" he exclaimed. He was clearly upset. I didn't answer. "I thought something happened, since that stupid Leech is with you, I-" he stopped when he saw Carla. "Oh. I'm sorry, I didn't see you there..." Vince said. Carla shrugged, "I don't really care, but who exactly is the 'leech'?" she asked. Vince stared at Zavier. Carla rose an eyebrow, "Oh~ I see, so Zavier's been attached to Dusk like a leech, even at her own house?" she asked. Vince just nodded, "... Yeah.. sure..." he said. That's not even it...
