Entry 34:

Things that I never thought would have existed in my entire life have popped up recently. There's really no one to turn to anymore. No one has a clue on why these things are happening. These things... that make me fell col, right down to the bone, are as real as I am... but it all just feels like some horrible nightmare... or a really sick joke. The farther away I try and push myself from these...things... the closer I'm getting to them.

I hadn't realized I'd fallen asleep, until I felt someone holding me. I had just had a nightmare about the Shadow, and was still shaking. My eyes shot open, and the first thing I saw was Zavier's face. He stopped and set me down in front of a victorian styled house. "What's going on? Where are we?" I asked him.

"We're at an old house my family owns. We're going to be staying here for a while," Zavier said. I looked around, "Where's everyone else?" I asked. "They're inside already, most likely sleeping again," he said. I took a shaky breath in, and sat on the porch steps. I rested my head in my hands, and looked back up at Zavier to see him staring at me. "...What...?" I asked.

"... I'm sorry..." he said while sitting down. I tilted my head, "For what?" He sighed, staring at the rising sun, "For everything. Making you worry, and then this happening... it's difficult on you, and... I wish I could do something," he said softly. "What are you saying? You didn't do anything wrong," I said. "That's what you think... I just... I wish I could take away all the pain you suffered, and send them far away, to where they can't reach you," he said, shifting his gaze to me.

"Why are you saying these things..?" I asked hesitantly. He let out a frustrated sigh, "I don't know. Ever since I met you... I've felt... strange. Call it whatever you want, but it's something I have never really felt before, until I met you. So... it's something special. Can you understand it? Can you understand how I feel?" he asked me. I couldn't speak. I only nodded mutely.

He stared up at the brightening horizon. His usual "demon/ villain" look fading away quickly, making him almost angelic. I was stunned by how perfect he was. His head turned towards me, and he smiled at me softly. I coughed a little, "Uh... what, um, what is it?" I asked. Zavier let out a small laugh, "It... hasn't exactly been peaceful... so when I turned to see how much the sun praises your beauty... I couldn't help but smile," he said, then smirked to himself, "When have I become so cheesy?"

I bit my lip, trying not to smile widely. Zavier got up, and dusted himself off. I instantly frowned, "Where are you going?" I asked him. He turned back around to face me, reaching a hand out towards me. "I'm taking you somewhere," he said. "Where?" I asked. "Just trust me, and you'll see..." he said, leaving me hanging on to the thread of curiousity. I tentatively grasped onto his hand, and he gave me a playful smirk. "... what's with that face...?" I asked.

"Nothing... I'm just thinking of how many things I can do right now," he said, gripping my hand tightly while leading the way. I stared at him warily. "Wait.. what are you saying?" I asked. He laughed again, "It was a joke. Now come on," he said, speeding up a litte. "Wait, what about the others? What about the Shadow?" I whispered. "It's fine... there's protective gear all about the house... and I promise, I won't let you get hurt," he said, his hand tightening around mine.

We walked down the hill of the forest, and came upon some rocks. Zavier went down first, helping me down the bigger boulders. He stopped me when we were near where he wanted me to be. "Alright... I know you hear it, but.... turn around," he said, putting his hands on my shoulders, and turning me. I gasped at the scenery before me. A medium sized waterfall roared loudly as the water fell into the water bank below it. It reminded me of a nature made pool.
