Entry 28:

I've always loved visiting my aunt's house. Vince would always come up with games with me, so I would never be bored. My uncle would always tell these stories about the places he's been, and my aunt would always tell these wild stories about... well... anything. I'll always remember going over to their house, because it was something special for me. I think it's about time to make a trip to my aunt's house.

I sighed for the thousandth time that day. I was on the bus with Vince and Zavier, on our way to Vince's house. Why are we all going to his house? Well... Shall I just show you a flashback?

~Flashback~

We were at home, still studying for the final exams. Dad had just gotten home, and was making food. "Hey. I don't get this," Vince said, in a zombie-like state. I looked at his paper. I stared at it for a while, feeling him and Xavier staring at me. I smiled, and looked up at Zavier. "You know how to do it?" he asked. I laughed nervously, "Honestly... no. I don't remember learning about this..." I stated. "It's fine. I don't think you guy learned it in class. We learned this at Pandora, he should've at least known this," Zavier said, giving a glare towards Vince. Vince grinned, "My strong point is Reading and Science. I suck at Math," he said. I rose an eyebrow, "... Isn't there Math in Science...?" I asked. "Yeah, but we could use a calculator, even on stupid equations, like 3x4," Vince stated simply.

"So you're just lazy," Zavier stated. At that moment, the door had swung open, and Mum was standing there, with a big smile on her face. "... Hey, Mum," I said. She smiled at me, "Hello, my little darling~" she said with a lot of happiness. "Melody, what's got you so happy?" Dad asked bluntly. She stared at him, "It's just... On the way home, I realized that Dusk hasn't seen Aphrodite and Dane for over a year now," she said. "So... why does that ake you happy?" he asked her. "Well... as I was thinking that, I got a call from Aphrodite, saying she's back from Europe, and she wants to see Scarlett," Mum said. Zavier was looking at us in confusion. "Aphrodite and Dane are Vince's parents; they're my aunt and uncle," I whispered quickly. He nodded mutely. "She wants to see Scarlett... so have Scarlett go," Dad said.

I sighed, and continued to work. "Of course Scar's going to be there. Along with Vince, Dusk, and Zavier," Mum said. "Why is Zavier going?" Dad asked. "Honey~ We can't leave him by himself at the house, it'd be lonely~" Mum whined. Dad sighed, "Whatever. As long as it's over the weekend, I don't care," he stated. "Great! Get ready to leave on Saturday morning, kids~!" Mum said in a sing-song voice. All three of us nodded mutely. It's not like we can disagree with her highness Mum...

~End Flashback~

"I don't understand why I had to go... Aphrodite wanted to see Scarlett," I muttered. Vince was fast asleep, and Zavier was reading. "Then why are you going still? Did you not have a choice?" Zavier asked, setting his book down. "...I'm going because it makes Mum and Vince happy. It's not like I hate Aphrodte, or she hates me, it's just... she always wants to see Scar," I stated. "So... you're jealous?" Zavier asked.  I shook my head, "No. It may sound that way, but not really. It's been like this since I was little. Aphrodite would always invite Scar over to hang out. I would always want to go to see Vince, but I would never be invited. In the end, it would always be Vince who asks his mom if I could come, just so he can see me," I explained, a sad smile on my lips.

I laughed a little, "Sometimes, when he wanted me to spend the night or hang out, he'd ask, 'Is it okay if Scarlett and Dusk stay the night?' It was funny," I said. Zavier kept staring at me. I snapped out of it, "Sorry if I sounded like a spoiled kid," I said with a grin. "It's fine. You didn't. In all honesty, I think you have a right to feel a little lonely," he said. I smiled, "I don't feel lonely. I have Vince and you to keep me complany," I said. There was a small meow-like noise from Vince's jacket. I looked over in confusion, and saw that it was Bex. "And I have Bex, so I'll be fine," I said with a laugh. "So.. Where's your sister anyways?" Zavier asked.
