Liam's POV
"Daddy! Wake up!" Peyton and Logan climbed on me and I opened my eyes. "Come on!" I chuckled and sat up.
"What time is it?"
"5:30 in the morning." Paige walked in and sat on the bed. "They wanted to open their presents." I smiled and looked at the twins.
"Well let's go." They cheered and ran out of the room. "Once we finish, we're going to sleep." She giggled and walked out the room. I got up and followed her downstairs. I sat beside her on the couch and watched the kids in front of the tree.
They opened their presents revealing toy after toy. I nodded at Logan and he picked up a bag and brought it to Paige. "What's this?" She opened it and looked at me. "Li." I chuckled. "I can't-"
"Look under it." She stuck her hand in the bag and pulled out the box. She opened it and smiled. She took the locket from the box, opening it.
"It's beautiful." I smiled and she wrapped her arms around my neck in a hug. She got up and picked up a box wrapped in metallic paper. She placed it in my lap and sat on the floor with the kids. I took the top off and looked at the red boxing gloves. "I remember when you saw mine and said you wanted some." I smiled and took them out.
"Payne Train?" I chuckled and she winked. "Thank you princess." She got up and sat beside me on the couch. I pecked her cheek and got up. "Now, I'm returning to our bedroom and going back to sleep." She nodded and I ran upstairs, walking in the room.
Paige's POV
I picked up the ripped wrapping paper and threw it away. "Can we have a brownie?" I looked at Peyton and nodded. I cut the brownies and handed them each a piece before cutting one for myself. I ate my brownie and walked upstairs. I walked in the room and looked at Liam on his phone. I changed from my onesie into a pair of leggings, a sweater, and a pair of socks.
"Can you help me with my necklace?" I sat beside him on the bed and handed him the beautiful locket. I moved my hair and he clipped it on. "Thank you." I laid beside him and he wrapped his arm around me. "Still tired?"
"A little bit. Why can they wake up at 5:30 for Christmas and not school?" He chuckled and pulled me closer. I laid my head on his chest and he grabbed my hand, intertwining our fingers. "Merry Christmas princess." He kissed my forehead and I smiled.
"Have you talked to your mom?" I looked up at him and he nodded.
"They're coming here." I nodded and yawned. "Let's take a nap." I shook my head and got up.
"I still have to clean up downstairs and cook breakfast so the kids don't eat all the brownies." I pecked his lips and walked downstairs. The kids were playing with their toys. "Pancakes or waffles?" They looked up at me.
"Waffles!" I chuckled, walking in the kitchen and got the stuff to make breakfast. I started cooking and felt a pair of strong arms around my waist.
"Smells good." I smiled and continued cooking. I put the waffles on a plate and wiggled out of his arms and started on the eggs and bacon. Liam put his hands on my hips and pecked my neck. I looked at him, smiling and he kissed me. I kissed back, turning and wrapping my arms around his neck. He traced my lip and I granted him access. Our tongues fought for dominance and I leaned against the counter.
"Babe." He pulled me closer and I started to smell something burning. My eyes opened and I pushed Liam off. "You're distracting me!" I punched his arm and he chuckled. I went back to cooking and Liam leaned against the refrigerator. I finished the bacon and eggs and put them on a plate, carrying the food to the table. "You almost made me burn the food."
