Finally, Parthiv healed completely.
Now he doesn't need any doctor's support everywhere he goes. But he has to go for those periodic checkups for another 6 months.
He became like a normal, healthy human. Going through this long journey, he now understood the importance of health and started listening to his body, which relieved his family.
His wounds turned into scars that reflect what happened to him all these years. His surgeries fixed his bone issues, and physiotherapy sessions and massages eased his muscle pains. Keeping him properly asleep and adding some relaxation habits like meditation and yoga calmed his nerves, which brought his mental health on track. He realized that his life was worth living, and some people around him made that realization.
Since he recovered, Meena decided to perform a grand Pooja as they came out from their dark times after a long period, and wanted to invite their well-wishers. For this, they also planned to invite their closest friends from overseas.
As Pooja is coming next week, they sent the invitations and called them personally. The higher management, senior doctors who treated him, close friends, business acquaintances, and family friends.
As soon as this news reached Deepthi, she asked her mom whether they were planning to come.
S: "Yes, we got the invitation, and their family called your dad and invited us again. So it might not look good if we don't attend Deepu."
D: "But Mom, Rahul can adjust for 2 days. If Dad can not make it, won't you accompany me? You can speak well with Meena Aunty."
S: "Say less about your dad. He can flip the entire house into a mess. And your brother helps him to ruin my kitchen more."
D: "But I don't want to attend solely mom. It will be embarrassing. I feel a bit discomfort when you are not accompanying me."
S: "Come on, Deepu. They are very familiar and well-known people to us. I saw those times they spoke with you very closely. While Parthiv, you have known him for ages, and didn't you tell me that he took you for dinner?"
D: "I am not alone, Mom. Our entire team went with him."
S: "Okay, you can go with them this time as well."
D: "They didn't receive the invitation. How can I ask them?"
S: "Whatever, Deepu, please try to attend. Your father will insist if you refuse like this. Decide quickly, as your dad will ask me about your answer when he returns this evening."
With this, she cut the call, saying that she would attend. It's not like she wants to skip it, without any known person, she is feeling weird. Deep down, she can feel the sense of assurance if she can be with someone, otherwise, Parthiv will start to flirt with her openly.
She went to open the door while tying up her bun, and was shocked to see HIM.
He is in his casual tees and jeans while holding a card and a gift. He was flabbergasted for a second by looking at her shorts and messy bun, which was about to fall. He cleared his throat as she came back to her senses.
D: "YOU? Why are you here at this time?"
P: "Can I come inside?"
D: "Ah....sorry. Come inside."
He examined her apartment while she nervously hid her unfolded clothes and empty chips cover. He sat on the couch, and within a couple of minutes, she came with a glass of water and sat across him.
P: "I never knew that you would be this chill at your home."
D: "Are you talking about this mess? Tomorrow is Sunday, right, so I will clean up tomorrow."
