Chapter 74

P: "Something felt odd, with both of them. Whenever I attended any meetings or spoke with them, it was never a good experience, and will never be."

J: "Chairman will question you regarding this. Can you answer?"

P: "There's nothing to hide, considering whatever they did for her. I want her father to be arrested soon, and they should never step out of prison for 20 years at least."

J: "They had a lot of connections, and I don't think it's possible to keep them inside for that long. Firstly, your father will question your acts."

P: "My father has a lot of questions to ask, it's not new for me. So, think about what we should do when he is arrested. This time, I will never miss a chance to prove how it will be when they mess with Parthiv Kapoor and the woman he loves and lives for, and I make sure they regret everything they did for."

J: "But chairman-"

P: "Don't worry, I will explain everything to him before he questions you. Who will be convinced or support when they try to kill an innocent girl? Also, what about the driver?"

J: "He is in lockup, and I guess that he will be there for this lifetime unless someone from his past bailed him out for another misdeed."

P: "Do you think I will sit back and let him harm my Deepu?" 

J: "Understood. Will complete, once everything is forgotten, and the cause should look like he took his life."

P: "Yep, when will Akshay be arrested?"

J: "Most probably, by tonight or tomorrow. Please don't forget to call your father, he is constantly calling me."

P: "Okay, I will call him right now."

With this, he called his dad, so as not to bother Jeevan, and confirmed that the news is true. Pankaj couldn't believe what they had done to Deepthi. Although he hid the info about that video, he concluded the call, assuring he would call again to explain everything in detail.  

He left a few hours later, and this routine continued for the next three weeks. Parthiv took her to the hospital regularly, and she was able to take steps with some ease, albeit slowly. Doctors said that her knee surgery can be postponed as they can notice the improvement, and she could hold herself without any support or anyone.

Kartheeka hugged her gently, saying, 

"Wow, Deepu, you finally made it."

"I know that you will rise like a phoenix bird, I am so happy for you and proud of you", Parthiv said by cupping her and kissing her forehead.

D: "It happened because of you two, not even with my family. You did beyond what we usually call family. I don't know if I could ever repay, even if I could, I bet it will be less than what you have done. The way you healed me emotionally gave me hope to live one more second, one more minute, one more day, and that pushed me till here. Thank you is the least I could say, and it has to be the last act of words I should be saying. But as of now, thank you so much guys for giving me a second life, I owe you this lifetime, you don't know how grateful I am for you both." 

"Then let us know how you are feeling", said this. They both hugged her, and the three enjoyed the moment wholeheartedly.

K: "Okay, I will be going to work, so please drop my bestie safely."

P: "It's okay, you can come with us. We'll drop you off since it's on the way home."

K: "I don't think it would be a great idea cuz I might interrupt your privacy, so-"
