01. Always And Forever

Sophie Deveraux, the sister of Jane-Anne Deveraux, the witch who according to Katherine was plotting against both Klaus and Lily, led Elijah towards the cemetery, but the moment Elijah reached the gate of the cemetery he quickly realised he couldn't step in.

"This is sacred ground" Sophie informed Elijah, walking back to him after realising he wasn't following her, "Which means vampires have to be invited in, but since I'm desperate, come on in", an extremely confused Elijah stepped into the cemetery and followed after Sophie, "We can talk freely here".

"Then I suggest you start talking" Elijah said, "What did your sister want with Niklaus and Lily?".

"Isn't it obvious?" Sophie asked, "We have a vampire problem, and we need help, Marcel has an army backing him, the witches have been trying to fight back, we haven't had much luck until my sister Jane-Anne had a vision, of a werewolf who lived in a small town in Virginia, that werewolf has a very special connection to your brother".

"Lily" Elijah realised, "You're talking about Lily Forbes".

"Rumor has it, Lily Forbes is the first girl in centuries that Klaus Mikaelson gave his heart to" Sophie informed, "Both Lily and Klaus have spent immense amount of time together, one thing led to another, and now this special werewolf girl, she's pregnant, and the father of the child she's carrying is your brother Klaus".

"That's impossible" Elijah stated, refusing to believe what Sophie was telling him.

"Nothing is impossible, especially not when it comes to your brother" Sophie said, "Think about it, they call him the hybrid, right?", Sophie turned towards the crypt, "Bring her out!".

Elijah looked towards the crypt and watched as a bunch of witches brought Lily out, Hayley right behind them.

Lily looked at Elijah and immediately let out the breath she was holding, "Elijah".

"Give us a moment, please" Elijah told Sophie, needing to talk to Lily alone.

"So have they been holding you here against your will?" Elijah asked Lily, as the two were now in the crypt alone while the witches and Hayley stood outside.

"They tricked me" Lily informed, "I went to the bayou thinking I'd find out about my family, but all I found were these witches who didn't waste a second in grabbing me, once they brought me here they did a ton of very weird witch tests on me", an extremely terrified Lily looked at Elijah, "Elijah, how could this happen? Aren't vampires supposed to be dead? How can someone whose dead have a child?".

Elijah let out a sigh as he sat next to Lily on the bench, "You know my brother's story Lily, you know how this is possible, in the beginning, our family was human, a thousand years ago now, although our mother dabbled in the dark arts, we were largely just a family trying to survive at a time when it was quite difficult to do so and, for better or worse, we were happy, that is, however, until one night, our youngest brother was killed by our village's greatest threat, men that could transform themselves into wolves during the full moon, our family was devastated, none more than Niklaus, desperate to protect the rest of us, our father forced our mother to call upon her black magic in order to make us stronger, thus, the first vampires were born, but with this speed, this strength, this immortality came a terrible hunger, no one felt this hunger more than Niklaus, when he killed for the first time, we knew what he truly was, he wasn't just a vampire".
