Lily sat between Klaus and Marcel at St. Anne's church.

"Thank you all for coming" Father Kieran said, addressing everyone at St. Anne's reopening, "It means more than I can tell you, we gather today for the first public service of our newly reopened church, St. Anne's can finally once again be the heart of our community, where we can congregate as a people united, here, this hour, we come together to praise god, and give thanks, the events that took place at our church were tragic".

Both Lily and Klaus's attention towards Marcel when they saw him look to the side and a worried look formed on his face once his eyes landed on an old familiar face, "Problem?" Klaus asked.

"No" Marcel told Klaus.

"Then pay attention" Klaus instructed.

Lily looked at Klaus, an amused expression on her face, "Didn't think this was something you believed in".

"It's not" Klaus admitted, "But we're meant to seem like devoted parishioners".

"And it is that hope in our hearts and with the help of many benefactors that allows us to be here today" Father Kieran continued, hearing benefactors, Lily lightly nudged Klaus with her elbow making him give her an amused look, "So we gather with renewed spirit made stronger, committed to the ideals of peace and love, amen".

"Amen".

Once the sermon was over Klaus, Lily and Marcel met with Father Kieran outside the church.

"Lovely sermon this morning, father" Klaus said, shaking Father Kieran's hand, "Quite inspirational".

"I wasn't expecting you to join us" Father Kieran admitted, shaking Marcel's hand and giving Lily a small nod.

"Oh, we were hoping for some word from your human sources on the recent Haitian invasion" Klaus said.

"My guys have their ears to the ground" Father Kieran assured, "And no one has seen or heard any sign of whatever his name is".

"Apparently he calls himself Papa Tunde" Lily informed, "And currently he has absorbed power from every vampire that Marcel had buried in that garden, which let me tell you were a lot, so you might want to tell your guys to get their ears more closer to the ground".

"Or I could steer clear of whatever war is brewing between your kind and his before I find myself in--".

Before Kieran could finish his sentence, Cami walked over to him, "I wanted to congratulate you on getting the church up and running" she said, shaking her uncle's hand before glancing at Klaus and Lily, "I can see this is a bad time", Cami looked at Marcel, "Nice to see you, Marcel".

"Cami" Father Kieran called out, but his niece ignored him and kept walking away, making both Marcel and Kieran look at Klaus and Lily.

"Why are you looking at me?" a confused Lily asked, "I barely had two interactions with the girl, I'm not the one she has a problem with".

"Hey, I tried to send her away" Klaus defended, just as his phone started ringing, "Yes, Diego, what do yo have for me?".

"Uh, we got a special delivery" Diego informed from the other side.
