It was around 10:30 at night when my phone went off for the first time.

from Luke

heyy, you ok? xx

to Luke

kind of x

from Luke

whats up? xx

I told him about what happened at school and Spencer being a dick. It took him a few minutes to reply.

from Luke

are you embarrassed of me?

I felt a knot form in my stomach. In a way I wasn't embarrassed at all, I could feel myself falling for him. But on the other hand it wasn't exactly the easiest thing in the world to deal with when we're from completely opposite social statuses, especially with Courtney turning against me too.

to Luke

of course not xxx

from Luke

what are we?

to Luke

what do you mean? x

from Luke

do you want us to be together or not?

It took me a few minutes to reply. Maybe I was making a mistake, but I honestly didn't care.

to Luke

yes xxx

We carried on texting until the early hours of the morning. Completely avoiding any conversation about Courtney or Spencer or anyone else. For the first time in a long time I could truly say that I was happy.

---

My alarm woke me up. Ugh another day of school, I would be so much happier if school had never been invented. I started getting ready for school. I was half way through applying my makeup when my phone went off.

from Luke

good morning my gorgeous girlfriend xxx

I didn't even know it was possible to smile as much as I did that early in the morning. We kept texting each other back and forth and I eventually finished my hair and make-up. I'd somehow managed to get talked into meeting Luke in the science corridor before school, since it was the quietest place in school. I texted all the girls and asked if we could get to school half an hour early because I apparently had to give extra work into Mrs Roberts for Chemistry. I mean Luke was tutoring me in Chemistry anyway so it wasn't that much of a lie, right?

---

I was texting Luke all the way to school, whilst chipping in to the conversation with the girls occasionally. They were discussing what to do for the extra half an hour they'd have to wait. 'I'll probably go and get some breakfast, since I've not eaten yet.' Savannah said stretching her arms and yawning. They all decided to go get breakfast since at least it gave them something to do other than just waiting around.

I was nervous, but excited as I made my way to the science corridor. I hadn't seen Luke in a few days and I honestly missed him. I missed his kisses too.
