Chapter 14

Spencer had wandered off to talk to his guy friends a few minutes ago.

Courtney pulled me off to the side of the room away from everyone else. ‘Jen, seriously when are you gonna loosen up have sex with Spencer?’ she said laughing, I could tell she was a bit drunk. I rolled my eyes.

‘Not yet.’ I replied.

‘Come on Jen, don’t be so frigid. Do you know what people would think if they knew you were still a virgin?!’ She laughed again ‘Seriously if you don’t do it soon Spencer’s gonna find someone who will.’ She said jokingly, but with a nasty tone.

I just shrugged my shoulders and crossed my arms across my stomach. Yeah I know that it’s embarrassing to still be a virgin, but I’m just not ready. Everyone at school probably thinks me and Spencer have been having sex for months so who even cares anyway?

The girls decided they were going home and Spencer had convinced me to stay at his tonight. He seemed to have sobered up from before so I got in his car and he drove us back to his. His parents weren’t home, but they never were since they were always on business trips. We went up to his room like we always did.

We started making out on his bed. After about 20 minutes my phone started ringing. Spencer sighed and pulled away from me so I could see who was calling. It was my mom.

‘Hello.’ I said.

‘Jenna where are you?’ she asked in a worried and slightly angry tone

‘I-I’m at Courtney’s.’ I always used Court to cover up the fact I was at Spencer’s since she was always the best liar out of all of us and I knew she’d always cover up for me.

‘Jenna, don’t lie to me I know you aren’t at Courtney’s.’ she shouted.

‘W-what?’ I asked feeling confused. Courtney would never rat me out.

‘You forgot to take your moisturiser with you so I thought I’d drop it off, since you’re so obsessed with using it multiple times a day and I was driving past Courtney’s house anyway. So I told Courtney’s mom to give it to you and she told me you weren’t there! Tell me where you are!’ I couldn’t tell my mum where I was, since she would kill me if she knew I was at Spencer’s. So I did the only thing I could think of and hung up.

She carried on calling me and leaving me angry text messages. After a while I just switched my phone off. Spencer was laughingagain. I scowled at him which made him laugh even more. ‘You’re so hot when you’re stressed Jen, and it’s so funny ‘cause you’re so angry but you look insanely hot at the same time. I’d fuck your brains out if you’d let me.’ He said with a cocky smile on his face. ‘Shut up.’ I replied.

‘Come on Jen, you might as well piss off your mom even more by fucking me.’ I actually contemplated this for a few seconds before realising that having sex with someone to annoy someone else was a stupid idea.

‘Can I have a cuddle?’ I asked pouting at him.

‘Sure babe.’ he said throwing his arms around me. We were just holding each other when I started drifting off to sleep.
