Chapter 2

'Courtney Jackson. Jenna Clark. Late. Detention tomorrow after school.' Mrs Walker barked as we entered the room. I saw Courtney roll her eyes as we walked to our seats.

We were watching the modern day version of Macbeth, the schools way of getting us interested in Shakespeare apparently. As if that would work. To be honest I was just happy that it was an unstressful class for a change.

After about 5 minutes i felt my phone vibrate. I cautiously lifted it out of my jeans pocket making sure Mrs Walker wasn't paying attention. She was too engrossed in the movie to even notice. Perfect.

omg i can't believe that Liam kid got us detention! wtf it wasnt even our fault we were late! im going to tell her after class ends that it wasnt our fault, you were attacked for fucks sake! >:(

hes called luke not liam & you can try talking to her if you want but you know what shes like. shes just out to ruin everyones lives, miserable bitch & he didnt really attack me. it was only an accident.

I couldn't be bothered replying to her after that. Luke didn't mean to knock my bag off my arm. To be honest I didn't even care anymore I just want to get out of tomorrow's detention. I felt my phone vibrate again. I hope it isn't Courtney carrying on her rant.

I switched off my phone after that, I couldn't be bothered with all the drama. I don't get why people find it all so interesting to be honest. I seriously couldn't care any less. I suppose it doesn't help that Courtney is acting as if he seriously hurt me or something. I don't get why everyone believes what she's saying anyway, I mean she exaggerates things so much all the time! Plus I'm pretty sure everyone knows that Luke is one of the shy loser kids. Just tries his best to stay in the background. He's not the kind of person to purposely hurt anyone. I hope that no-one is taking any of this seriously and that they leave him alone. I feel so bad now, for giving him that dirty look before. As if he's not going to get enough shit from everyone else I just had to add to his problems. Ugh why is school so complicated?
