Chapter 23

I started working on an essay we had to write for English class. My phone went off, signalling that I had a text. I ignored it and carried on writing. A few minutes later it went off again. And again. I rolled my eyes and carried on working. Then it started ringing. I sighed and looked to see who it was. Courtney. She can wait. I switched off my phone so I could concentrate on my essay.

About an hour and a half later I'd finished my essay. I decided that I should switch my phone back on since Courtney would be pissed that I didn't reply to her text immediately.

I didn't ring her back, I didn't want to talk to her. What had I done now? Ugh. I decided to speak to her on Facebook instead since I can type quickly on my laptop. I logged in and saw that she was on chat.

i'd say do whatever makes you happy, i mean if you asked him out he definitely wouldnt turn you down, you're jenna clark ffs! you're gorgeous! but i doubt courtney would be too happy about it either :/

I logged off facebook and flopped down onto my bed and went through every possible scenario in my head. There was literally no options that wouldn't annoy anyone. What was I going to do? Ugh, why is everything so complicated.
