My phone woke me up. It was a reminder.

Finish geog project w/ Luke.

I went downstairs for some breakfast. My mom’s car wasn’t in the driveway. Good. I’d be happy if I never saw her again after last night. When I’d eaten my cereal I went for a shower. Then I sorted my hair out and put on make-up. I put on less than I usually do since I was feeling to lazy to cover my face in 10 different make-up products. I put some concealer under my eyes and applied a clear lipgloss and a small amount of mascara.

to Luke

What time are we finishing this project?

After about half an hour I heard the doorbell. I opened the door, the sun was shining behind Luke. It highlighted him really well. It made his eyes look even more blue, I didn’t even think that was possible. We went up to my room since my laptop was up there. I opened my curtains to let some light in.

We had about half of the project  left to finish. We took it in turns to find information and we colour coded the font so it would be less confusing to present. I had to read everything that was green and he had to read everything that was blue. When we’d finished adding information we added a few pictures of the eiffel tower, croissants, etc.

As soon as we’d done I logged onto Facebook. Courtney was online.

(Jenna’s in italics. Courtney’s in bold)

hey

hi

doing anything interesting?

just finished my geography project

good, when do you present it?

monday

then you can delete him from your friends list

I quickly closed the tab. I warily glanced out of the corner of my eye and hoped that Luke hadn’t seen. He was looking at his phone so hopefully he hadn't noticed. Why did Courtney have to be such a bitch all the time.

‘I’m bored.’ I announced for no reason.

‘What do you want to do?’ he asked looking at me with his gorgeous eyes. His lips looked soft, make-out maybe? Ugh. I wish popularity didn’t exist. There’s no way I could ever be with Luke, and when this project is done I won’t even be able to even talk to him anymore.

‘Dunno, can we go somewhere? My mom will probably ground me whenever she gets back so I should probably make the most of what freedom I have left.’ I said jokingly.

He laughed.

We walked out of the house and got in his car. ‘Where do you want to go?’ he asked.

‘Anywhere.’
