I pulled my pale pink Ted Baker tote over my shoulder as i walked out of biology. Four classes down one to go. Tamzin was fixing her already perfect blonde hair using the reflection from her phone screen. 'Coffee later?' she inquired already knowing my reply.
'Yep.' Getting coffee after school was a ritual of ours. After being in different classes all day me, Tamzin, Savannah and Courtney had to catch up on the latest gossip. I mean we're at the top of the social ladder for a reason, if we don't get chance to pass our judgement who's to say that we'll stay there? Not being at the top is just not an option for us. We were born for this; perfect hair, perfect make-up, perfect fashion sense. No-one else could handle being at the top as well as we can.
Me & Tamzin parted ways as we walked out of the classroom, she went right towards physics and i turned left down the stairs to get to English. I spotted Courtney coming out of the bathrooms and called her over. 'I hope Miss Walker is in a better mood this lesson, did you see how badly she graded my last essay?' she hissed into my ear. I wasn't really paying attention to where I was walking since I was too interested in what Courtney was telling me about someone crying in the bathrooms.
I felt a hard knock against my right arm and literally everything came flying out of my bag. Everyone who was in the corridor stopped in shock. After gathering myself I looked up to see which idiot had decided to humiliate me. As I looked up I made eye-contact with a terrified looking Luke Henderson. I made sure to give him my hardest stare which caused his eyes to widen even more.
I started to collect my things up off the floor and put them back in my bag. In that moment I was silently overjoyed that I wasn't on my period so no tampons had flown out of my bag. That would have been embarrassing. The crowd of people who stopped to stare had started walking to class again, clearly I didn't manage to hold their interest for more than a few seconds. As I stood up and placed my bag on my shoulder where it belonged I heard Courtney practically screaming at Luke. 'How dare you go near her, what the fuck is wrong with you, you sick fuck! How dare you embarrass us in front of everyone like that?' she yelled. Luke was frozen to the spot looking completely petrified. I was actually starting to feel a bit sorry for him to be honest, it isn't like he meant to knock everything out of my bag. 'Well say something then, don't just stand there!' Courtney yelled at him again.
'S-s-sorry.' He stuttered as he bolted down the corridor.
'Ugh, who the hell does he think he is?' Courtney ranted. 'How dare he come near you, does he not know who you are?'
'Just leave it Court, we're late to English, come on.' As we headed down the corridor to our class.
