I was really not looking forward to going to school this morning. I tried to get out of it by pretending to be sick, but my mom was being a bitch and was making me go to school anyway. Nice to know how little she cares about her only child's health. My first class was religious studies. I don't know whether to be happy that I'm on my own so I don't have to deal with Courtney being a bitch, or to be worried about people I barely even know being annoying. I'd texted the girls to say that my mom was driving me. The longer I can avoid Courtney, the better.

I was so happy when I got to religious studies that Mr Greenwood was on time. At least that would stop most people from being nosy as he doesn't like people talking during class. We started learning about how different religions see marriage. Who cares seriously? When I felt a tap on my shoulder.

It was Connor. 'Are you seriously dating Luke Henderson?' he asked trying not to laugh in my face. I turned round and ignored him. He tapped my shoulder again and I ignored him. He carried on tapping. After a while he got bored and started kicking the back of my chair. I turned round to yell at him for being a dick when Mr Greenwood spotted me and gave me detention for trying to start a conversation. Why can nothing in my life ever go right?

After religious studies had finished I started walking to gym class. I said hi to the girls when I saw them in the changing rooms. Savannah replied whilst Courtney frowned at her. Tamzin and Courtney just blanked me. I really need to find some better friends. I got changed and quickly threw my hair up into a bun.

We were playing netball today, I didn't mind too much as you can mostly stay out of the way unless you get stuck with being a centre or a goal shooter. Mrs Heywood told everyone which position they would play in. I was wing attack. Good, now I can just avoid the ball and chill out most of the time.

We'd been playing netball for about 20 minutes when the ball smacked me in the face and sent my flying to the ground. It was thrown by Courtney of course, she can be such a bitch when she wants to be. Everyone crowded round me and I could feel blood dripping from my nose. Mrs Heywood looked alarmed and asked if anyone would take me to the nurse. Courtney volunteered. Great.

'Do you think it's broken?' she said in an unusually cheery voice.

'It better not be.' I replied angrily.

'Chill Jen. Plastic surgery exists you know.' I finally lost it.

'Why are you such a bitch?!' I screeched in her face. She looked shocked for a few moments and then spluttered 'excuse me?!'

I knew I'd made a mistake when I saw the rage in her eyes...
