"Talking"

—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gray groaned as he stumbled toward the bedroom the Yardratians had given him, his vision blurring a bit.

What the hell do they put in that stuff?

The night of celebration had been full of food and drinks - as despite their capital being destroyed, the Yardratians were in high spirits after the trick barrier was turned off.

All around the planet, the remaining demons quickly found the tables turned on them - the Yardratians were far from weak, and with their Ki regained the much larger population was able to take down the demons even without Gray's help.

And so, Gray had felt no guilt in indulging the celebration - his work of taking down Kokobiel was done, and Yardrat was set up for freedom. He'd still have to clean up the 'demon gate' problem, as it wasn't as simple as the gate closing from Kokobiel's death, but that seemed like tomorrow's problem at the moment.

Hopefully it's not that difficult.

The Yardratians had taken his demand - which stemmed from Fasha's rather ridiculous demand - pretty seriously. Pybara had made it clear to him that if he ever needed the people of Yardrat, they would have no qualms about risking their lives to assist him.

I can't just leave the gate open after he said all that. I'll be responsible here.

As much as Gray would've preferred to get back to Planet Vegeta as soon as possible, he couldn't just leave the demon gate open now. The Yardratians were a strong support system to have, and leaving them at risk of more demons invading to avenge Kokobiel wasn't a good idea. Gray had just gotten a whole planet on his side - he wasn't going to lose it over wanting to get back to Asia and Tamari faster. They could wait another day or two.

Gray pushed open the door to his room, his mind still buzzing a little. It was a testament as to how strong the Yardratian's alcohol equivalent was - and to how much Gray was goaded into drinking by Fasha - that he was feeling anything at all. His Saiyan body was in about as peak physical condition as anyone of any race could hope to get, with his minor evolution progress making his body even more resilient. As a result, it took a lot to get him to feel a bit tipsy.

Gray stepped into the room, glancing around at the large area - which was very large as far as bedrooms go. Pybara had insisted that he take the best room they had in the towering city center.

It was made of purple stone, had a couple of tables and chairs laid out, and was pretty well furnished. There were two purple windows with a view of the city and what looked to be a closet - which was pretty much just a hole in the wall. There was also a nightstand and a couple other large stone structures that looked like they were used for various things - though Gray wasn't certain for what, as it didn't resemble anything obvious from Earth. But the real appeal came from the bed.

Compared to the rocky and hard beds that Gray had seen - and destroyed - in homes during his fight with Kokobiel, this one was much more comfortable looking. It was huge - stretching even bigger than a king-sized bed. It had some type of animal fur laid across it, along with two soft gelatin-looking pillows. There was even an animal fur blanket, a glass of water sitting on the nightstand next to it, and a sexy demon girl laying in the middle-

"Why are you here?" Gray asked bluntly, staring at the drunk Kalawarna laying in the middle of the bed. Her, along with Raynare and Mittelt, hadn't been able to indulge in the celebration - as Gray didn't think the Yardratians would appreciate partying with the demons who had enslaved them, even if they were loyal to him.
