"Talking"

"So, this is a new timeline? I definitely didn't account for that..." Celia muttered, looking overly nervous as she chewed on one of her fingernails, "This might ruin everything... I need time to plan..."
"Do you ever not sound suspicious?" Gray deadpanned at her, but Celia didn't respond as she stared off into space, her mind whirling.
"Wait, so, there's another me?! There can't be more than one of me! I'm the only me!" A few feet away from the duo, Caulfila was huffing, and she glared at Shin, who was cowering under her gaze despite the power difference, "There's no way! I'm me!"
"S-Stop yelling at him! You're going to make him angry!" King Kai was holding one of Caulifla's arms, doing his best to hold her back as she tried to assault Shin. The Kai had been in for a big surprise when he jumped timelines and ran into his boss, and he had been panicking for the last hour.
"T-There was another you, but there's not anymore! She died!" Shin tried to calm her down desperately.
"Then, this timeline's me died as well? That's really sad..." Asia trailed off, looking down cutely as she listened in, "But... at least there's not more competition..."
Gray blinked, glancing over at her dryly.
Did I just hear that right?
"Yeah, it would suck if I had to kill the other me," Saeko nodded sagely, drawing Gray's attention to her, "But there can only be one of me. One of us would have to die."
"I agree," Tamari nodded in agreement, looking far too serious about the idea of killing this timeline's her, "She would feel the same."
Why the hell can there only be one?!
And, Gray certainly wouldn't mind two Saeko's in the slightest, nor two Asia's, or two Tamari's. After meeting up with his squad again, with some assistance from Kibito, Gray had explained everything to them with Shin, and some were definitely taking it better than others. For Asia and Saeko, they had accepted it pretty quickly. In comparison...
"A-Another timeline? Aliens... planets blowing up... explosions... time travel... it doesn't make sense..." Tatsumaki muttered, staring out into space glassily as Fubuki shook her panickedly.
"I-It's fine, sister! We're both still together, so it's fine!"
For the second strongest hero, I thought she would handle something like this better,
"W-Wait, what about Raphtalia and Ochaco?" Asia called out, bringing Gray's attention to her as he glanced away from the two sisters, "They stayed on King Kai's planet..."
"They're fine," Shin butted in, answering before Gray could, "Otherworld wasn't destroyed, but I couldn't risk bringing us there... Zeno will likely erase the entire universe, but Otherworld is another realm and will still remain. If we had stayed there, then he would've tracked me down and erased me..."
Fair enough. I'm actually glad that things worked out this way - I told him to bring Boros to Otherworld to prevent the universe from being destroyed, but that might've ended up destroying Ochaco and Raphtalia's souls if he really did it. I don't know how big that blast was, but if it was 'universe-ending,' then...
"Actually, this is fine. If anything, it's good," Celia pulled Gray away from his thoughts as she spoke again, looking at him seriously, "I could see Harro being destroyed even from my pod, and I thought all that work to make them our allies would've been for nothing. This way, they're still here, and we can continue as planned. Gray, you need to go defeat the monsters on Monas-"
