"What the hell happened?!" Caulifla shouted as she shot down from the air, landing next to Gray in the destroyed city around them.

"Blew up the city," Gray shrugged.

"Yeah, I can see that," Caulifla deadpanned, "Was there an enemy? If there was a guy that tough, you should've let me fight them! Flying around is so boring!"

"Nope, there wasn't anyone." Gray shook his head, though saying there was no one was a bit rude. Considering the huge wall of notifications to Gray's side, which were listing out all the 'Harroians' that had died in the blast, there were definitely more than a few people around.

Unfortunately, despite the literal thousands of civilians that the explosion had killed, Gray hadn't gotten enough experience to level up because of how weak they were.

"Then why did you blow up the whole city?!" Caulifla huffed, looking more annoyed at being left out than at Gray for actually destroying the city, "You said we were going to sit around and wait! If I knew we were taking this approach, we could've been done blowing up half the planet by now!"

"I feel like that was unnecessary," The dry tone of Celia came next, the woman floating down with Mumen Rider before Gray could respond to Caulifla, "You could've just blown up a few buildings."

"The city..." Mumen Rider didn't even land on his feet as Celia put him down, staring around in awe and terror as the city was leveled into nothingness.

"Nah, we need to lure in the big fish." Gray shook his head easily, ignoring Mumen Rider's reaction, "I don't want to deal with a bunch of minions until they view us as a big enough threat."

I already did enough of that on Yardrat.

After spending a whole day hunting down city bosses until he was able to reach Kokabiel, Gray wasn't eager for another drawn-out mission.

It's not just one planet this time, it's a whole coalition.

The mission would take much longer than his time on Yardrat, and the longer it took, the greater the chance there was for one of his weaker squadmates to be killed.

"I thought it was a great move!" Fasha reached him next, grinning widely as she landed next to him, "I'm fine with sitting around until the moon comes out, then we can just smash everything!"

"We're in a rush, but not that big of a rush," Gray said dryly at her suggestion, "Just look out for any other heroes they send. Gather the rest of the squad back, too, and we can go over what you scouted while we wait."

"There was a bunch of nothing," Caulifla sighed as Tamari and Mizuki landed back with the group again, "It's just a big city. There was some guy waving a fish around at me, but he also exploded from one punch."

"You shouldn't just be killing people," Gray scolded her, "We can use them to get more infor- wait, fish."

Right, Caulifla landed in an ocean with a bunch of fish people.

"C-City J is... gone..." Mizuki muttered, her eyes wide with a mixture of awe and fear.

Gray turned to Mizuki, who was being placed back on her feet by Tamari, "Do you know anything about fish people being in the ocean?"
