"Talking"

Doctor Gero POV

"When will the product be here?! I can't wait any longer!" I slammed my hands into the table and dramatically swiped all the papers off the desk, "It's so close! So close!"

"C-Calm yourself, Doctor!" A nameless grunt behind me shouted. I was offended that such a lowly man was even allowed in the same room as my genius self, but I had to let it slide.

"It'll be here when Lord Cooler sends it," A deeper voice behind me, belonging to one of the lieutenants, scoffed at me, "What you asked for wasn't just some trivial task! No one but Lord Cooler himself would be able to get it, so be grateful, you lowly Earthling!"

I turned around, narrowing my eyes at the hulking, idiotic excuse for a man. As soon as my perfect creation is complete, he'll be the first one to go. I turned around stiffly, turning back to the small body floating in a vat of water.

I can't stand idiots, and yet I'm stuck on a planet full of them! Me, the greatest genius in all of history, stuck at the whims of a bunch of moronic aliens! Stuck in a room full of hideous monsters that wouldn't know algebra from geometry!

I let out a frustrated hiss as I stared at the small green creature in the vat.

"Soon..." I muttered, not speaking anymore out loud. I'll continue to put up with these moronic aliens because soon they will all see my true genius!

Soon, they will regret looking down on me for being a human. Soon, they will beg for their lives, kneeling at my feet. Soon, my perfect creation will turn this world upside down. It will destroy those who wronged me so, and create the world anew! A new world with me at the top!

I stared longingly at the small body, which would still not be ready for more than a year, even if I started the finalization process right now. But, I couldn't start it yet. It wasn't ready.

My creation was almost perfect - but it wasn't perfect. It had all the DNA, all the techniques, and all the fighting experience of every great man, woman, or alien who had ever visited this planet. All except one.

That boy I had seen through my drones - the boy who appeared so suddenly out of nowhere and yet seemed to loom so large. I had thought the Namekian was the greatest fighter I had ever seen, but that wasn't true anymore. That boy exceeded him - nay, he dwarfed him.

And yet, he was out of my reach. The one man whose knowledge and fighting techniques could've put my creation over the top - the one man whose DNA could've made my creation perfect! The final part of the puzzle, and yet he was gone! Disappearing in a tiny spaceship, ascending back to whatever planet he had come from!

I hadn't gotten a sample from him - not because I hadn't tried, mind you. I had tried effortlessly, sending even experimental drones after him. But, everything I tried failed. It was as if he was constantly on guard - as if he was suspicious that even the bugs, which my drones were disguised as, were going to attack him at any moment. Almost as if he knew he was being spied upon.

But, that didn't matter anymore. The boy was gone, and I had to adapt. I had to find another part to finish my perfect creation. Luckily, my backer happened to be powerful. Very powerful.

Cooler. I had never met the man, but I assumed he was also a muscle-headed idiot just like his minions that constantly berated me. However, he was a powerful muscle head. A powerful muscle head who could give me the final piece of the puzzle.
