Alessandra pov

I looked in the mirror one last time, searching for flaws.

This is the day that I never thought would ever happen.

I quickly put my black hair in a sloppy bun at the top of my head. I grabbed my pouch and reached for my mascara. I slowly applied it on my eyelashes, hoping to make them look longer.

I decided to throw on my lace bra, with my white tee. I paired it with my crop blue skinnies and my all white converse. I was feeling really anxious because I didn't know if I could face them.

Well him.

Me and Damon have already mended. But its just Stefan now.

Yesterday night
Damon pov

Maybe I shouldn't have showed her how we died. I opened my eyes and tears were flowing down her cheeks. She was still in deep thought. She was still laying asleep on the bed.

I hope I didn't traumatize her, I just want her to know what happened to us.

"Wow." Bonnie breathed from the other side of the bed. She looked at me with the most sympathetic look.

I honestly forgot she was there.

"Yep." I huffed while resting my face in the palms of my hands.

"You and Stefan are amazing, you guys are one of the most emotional vampires that I have ever met." She said while staring deep into my eyes. I looked up at her and sent her a smug grin.

She smiled at me and got up to leave.

"Let me know how everything turns out, ok?"

I nodded and she left.

Minutes after I felt someones palm rest on top of my hand and I slowly turned around. Alessandra was wide awake, a tear streamed down her face and she immediately engulfed me into a hug.

It took me a couple of seconds to respond because I couldn't believe she was touching me voluntarily. I wrapped my hands around tightly, not wanting her to ever let go.

My body was shaking and tear fell down my cheek. She's my baby sister and I will never let her go eve again.

"I love you so much." I whispered into her hair. I felt dampness on my shirt and I realized she was crying I held her closer and stroked my fingers through her hair.

I've been waiting for this since...

She slowly moved her head out from neck and her brown eyes met mine.

"I heard what Stefan said." Her voice spoke and I immediately swallowed down hard.

Alessandra pov

Once I heard the knock on my hotel room door, I grabbed my small cross body and headed for the door. I looked through the peep hole and I saw Damon with a wide smile, waving his hand.

I couldn't help but smile.

I quickly adjusted my shirt, I checked to see If my zipper was down and fixed my necklace. Once I was okay with how I looked I opened the door.

"Wow...Alex you look beautiful." He said while looking down at me flustered. I told him the other night that I liked being called Alex instead of Alessandra.

"Thanks." I leaned in and gave him a small hug. He wrapped his hands around me, giving me a small kiss on my head.

"You still prefer this hotel over home?" He asked while cocking his eyebrow.

"I don't want to intrude, let's just take it one step at a time."

I saw how he looked disappointed but it's true. I don't want to rush anything. I'm still deeply scarred from the events that happened when I was 8.

"Ready?" He asked while smiling at me. I have never seen Damon smile so much, is it me or is he having a good day?

"Uhhh yeah I guess." I said nervously. Does Stefan even want to see me. I haven't seen him since that night in my memory. After me and Damon spent all night talking and trying to become comfortable around each other I told him I wanted to go to a hotel.

"Here." He said handing me a pair of Ray-ban sunglasses. I looked at him with a small smirk.

"What are these for?"

He put them on him and gave me a small pose. I couldn't help but let out a small laugh. He looked so bad ass when he wore his black leather jacket.

"So you can look as good as me." He smirked. I placed them on my face and crossed my hands over my chest, giving him a badass pose too.

"How do I look?"

"We'll work on it." He said and I my jaw dropped playfully.

"What?!" I said as we exited my hotel room.

"We have all of eternity." He said with a more serious look and I sent him a small smile.

He's trying and I like that.

Stefan POV

"Where's Damon?" Elena asked.

Me and Elena were at the Grille because Damon called and said he wanted to talk to us about something. We have been waiting here for an hour and he still isn't here.

I'm annoyed and I feel like a complete ass hole. I didn't even go back to see if she is okay. I didn't even go back to see if she forgave us. I just left. I'm a coward.

I'm kind of anxious Because I didn't go back home last night and now Damon has something to tell us.

I hope nothing happened to Aless.

"I have no idea." I said while twirling my iPhone in my hands.

I heard the restaurant door open but I didn't look up from my beer bottle because ever time I did it was never Damon.

I saw a familiar black boots standing in front of our table and I sighed in relief knowing it was Damon. I looked up at his tall frame and I smelt her.

My baby, Aless. I couldn't see her but I smelt her. Damon gave me a tired smile and moved out of the way.

I was revealed to her.

My baby sister, she looked...stunning.

She walked up to me and wrapped her hands around my torso. I looked up at Damon in shock.

It felt like I was dreaming.
