The days flew by and it was a new week already.

Summer sat in class, flipping through her biology textbook, wanting to ignore Asher once he set foot in class.

It was like they had built a routine now,Asher arrived to pick her up for school and she avoided it by leaving early.

A wave of nausea washed through her body ,she had been feeling quite unwell this morning.

She took a sip of the steaming hot coffee in the flask beside her. For some reason coffee made everything better.

"Good morning,"Asher greeted trying to plant a kiss on Summer's cheek.

Summer tilted her head to the side, tactfully avoiding the kiss. Asher straightened up in shame.

Grayer who had been watching the encounter caught Asher's eye and let out a winning grin.
He turned to Summer and she graced him with a eye roll, immediately turning away.

Grayer scratched his head awkwardly, this was progress he shrugged.
He had not received a reaction from Summer these past few days at all. An eye roll was something, right? Crazy as it seemed,he was slowly melting her hard front.

Lunch time soon came and the squad sat assembled in the cafeteria.

Summer looked up from her phone, noticing St. Williams settle beside her on the bench. Her eyes eyes rested on his tray of food,it stayed there for a while.

St. Williams realized."I'll go get your food. Nothing's changed right?"

"No, nothing is changed, thanks!" Summer appreciated as St. Williams' got to it.

Grayer and St. Williams always went for Summer's food. When she started dating Asher, the responsibility automatically fell to him. She wasn't talking to Asher and Grayer now so the responsibility fell to St.Williams.

The boys did not mind. They considered all these tiny acts of service to one of the girls they loved most in the world.

"Yo! Where's Smith at?" Chris asked about Asher's whereabouts, throwing a crisp at Summer to get her attention.

Summer looked up from her phone, shooting the oily fry and then Chris a glare.

"I'm not his fucking keeper." She retorted as Courtney rolled her eyes from her position on her boyfriend's laps.

Chris shrugged," I was just asking."

"Don't mind her baby, she's just being sour because she misses her boo." Courtney cooed placing a kiss on Chris' forehead.

"I don't miss him." Summer butt in.

"Says the girl whose ears turn red by the mere mention of Asher's name." Courtney teased Summer.

Summer subtly touched her ears," Is it that visible?"

Chris and Courtney burst into giggles.

"She's just messing with you." Chris assured.

"But on a serious note the dude is miserable being apart from you. Whatever he's done just let it go. Fights happen in relationships,it's letting  go that matters."Chris advised, speaking up for his friend.

Summer nodded, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear,the conversation ceased as footsteps drew near.

Asher made his way toward Summer and settled beside her after a friendly nod at Chris and Courtney.

The two had almost immediately gone back to sucking each other's faces off.

"St. Williams is seated there."Summer notified him.
