Summer sat on her bed, feet entwined, flipping through the pages of her photo album from years back.

She'd pulled it out from the memory box underneath her bed,to slide in the photographs from today's match.

She slowly slid in the most current picture she'd had printed out. A silver medal dangled from around her neck as her friends, family and boyfriend smiled wide in the picture.

It excluded Grayer, the most recurrent face in her album.

Then the reality hit her, she'd lost her crown and her best friend.

There was no getting any back.

A soft tap on her room door pulled her back to reality. She shoved the album under her pillow and roughly wiped the tears she hadn't noticed  slide down her cheeks.

"Come in."She sniffed as Asher poked his head into the room. His bright blonde curls were a dead give away.

She let out a  smile and hugged herself tight, watching him as he made his way into her room.

What're you hiding?" Summer braved a laugh ,her heart heavy on realizing that he had his hands behind his back.

"Okay, you got me."He confessed, his eyes lighting up as he watched her smile.

He thrust out a bouquet of roses at Summer from where he'd hidden it behind his frame.

"I got you these earlier today before the match started, because I thought you'd bag it again. You did bag it,and seeing these laying in the backseat of my car without being in your arms made me drive over."He confessed, careful about his choice of words not to hurt her.

Summer was all smiles listening to his confession. She rose up from her bed and received the flowers he held out.

Asher was considerate and thoughtful, but it was sad he couldn't read her sometimes. It was sad he couldn't see her smiles were all an act to hide the hurt she truly was feeling inside.

Regardless, she wound her hands around his neck and placed a long slow kiss on his lips.

"Thank you,Asher."She smiled against his lips, pulling back.

"The roses are beautiful." She added, wiping her lipgloss off the edge of his lips.

Asher started longingly at her as she walked over to her windowsill to set the roses in a jug of water.

Her iPhone pinged with a message and and she grabbed it from her study desk. It was one of their classmates congratulating her on today's match.

She shot back a 'thank you' text, turning her attention back to Asher who's stood gazing at her.

Her face heated up on realizing she was in one of her brother's numerous plain white dress hurts which showed off literally everything beneath the fabric.

She let out a nervous laugh, running her hands through her hair. She was completely au naturel underneath the fabric and had hugged Asher in that state.

Asher on realizing her mild embarrassment closed the little distance between them and pulled her close, his hands wound around her waist.

"You're quite the show, aren't you." He laughed into her hair.

"I'm guessing I'm the main attraction."Summer teased wounding her arms around Ashers neck, drawing him in for another kiss.

Their lips morphed into one as Asher delivered slow kisses on her mouth.

He gently nibbled on the plump flesh of her lower lip as  Summer passed her hand through his hair.

Asher detangled their lips, trailing slow kisses on her neck to her collarbone.

He only stopped to slowly unbutton Summer's shirt, revealing her beautiful body.

"You're gorgeous."He mumbled, his mouth trailing kisses on her chest.

Summer groaned, her hands pulling his hair in ecstasy, his skin on hers worked magic.

Summer watched him lock her room door, then slowly discard the few clothes he still had on.

It was blissful as Summer finally felt Asher inside of her.

                                ***

Summer woke up feeling a certain soreness between her thighs, then she realized the shirtless Asher sleeping peacefully beside her and smiled.

Her first time was worth it, each moment. Asher handled her perfectly well and made her feel safe.

He stirred and turned a little in his sleep, his eyes fluttering to life.

A smile grew on hisips when he noticed Summer's gaze on him and she tactfully shot her eyes away.

Asher chuckled pulling her in through the sheets and pressed a kiss to her forehead.

Summer's eyes flickered to her bedside clock. It read a few minutes past ten in the evening.

They had slept off after their magical experience.

She ignored the soreness between her thighs watching Asher as he rolled off the bed,the covers slipped off after him.

She gazed up at him as he slipped on his briefs. A blush crept up her cheeks realizing she'd felt his manhood in her few hours ago.

Asher pulled up his pants next, chuckling at his beautiful girlfriend who couldn't stop checking him out from her position sprawled on the bed.

He badly wanted to lay down in her arms,in the comfort of her fluffy duvet, but responsibilities had to call.

His phone pinged incessantly with notifications and he groaned, not bothering to pick it up from where it lay on the floor.

"It's most probably my Dad. We were supposed to have dinner with this work associate of his later on tonight,I guess it slipped." Asher explained his leave.

Summer nodded, sitting up. She covered her upper body with her sheets, looking very edible with her hair down and bare shoulders.

Asher slipped on his polo shirt, his last article of clothing, drawing near to give Summer one last final kiss.

"I love you."He muttered.

"I love you ." Summer said back, quietly watching him grab his keys off  her study desk.

"You up for St.Williams' birthday bash this weekend?" Summer asked.

"Yeah,thanks for the reminder."Asher laughed.

"I'll pick you up, yeah? Text me if you're ready for us to go then." Asher announced and Summer nodded.

"Oh and Asher,my first time was worth every moment with you." She confessed smiling up at him.

Asher smiled back. Man,did he love this girl.
