Winter pulled up her stirrup leggings, adjusting its waistband. She slipped on a cropped baggy top over her sports bra.
Picking up her iPhone with its glitter coated phone cover, she puckered up her lips and snapped a quick selfie.

She tagged the picture and shared it on her Instagram story.
Within a matter of minutes, she'd received about three hundred likes.
She put her stuff together and grabbed her cheer bag.
"I'm grabbing an after workout smoothie at the Snack Bar down on Willow Street. I'll meet you at Nordstrom." Winter said goodbye to Naya who was preoccupied with stuffing her workout gear in her duffle bag.
"I'll text you my order." Naya mentioned.
"I've got to make a pit stop at the pharmacy, to get a post-pill." She explained.
"Whoa, are you okay?" Winter asked raising a brow.
"Yeah, I had a rough night with St.Williams after their victory party yesterday." She shrugged. Her eyes had a subtle glow and you couldn't miss the smile forming at her lips.
"OMG! How was it like?" Winter said excitedly.
"It was amazing. The best sex I've had ever! I felt something though, like a connection." She giggled with dreamy eyes, flipping a braid over her shoulder.
Winter smiled at her,"That's awesome!"
"Yeah, I'm still wondering why he hasn't texted me back yet."
"I'm sure he'll come around. St.Williams is probably not good with texts." Winter encouraged trying to uplift Naya's mood.
From the little Winter knew about St. Williams, she was sure he was a no strings attached type of guy.
She wondered if Naya was ignoring the red flags or being clueless.
Nonetheless, Winter wasn't ready to burst her bubble. Naya would probably get over it soon. It was just a sex haze, it would wear off.
Naya had slowly become her friend overtime from cheer practice. She was their squad leader and showed her the ropes when she joined the team. Winter needed someone to go out shopping with and have spa dates with. She needed someone, a friend to take her mind off stuff.
Things weren't exactly going on smoothly for her seeing as her parents were going through a divorce.
She had randomly been uprooted from England one morning to America.
Her Mum, Charlene Bailey, was an all round Oscars Winner and star of many hit TV shows.
Her Dad was a blockbuster movie director and was making it high up the charts. Her parents divorce scandal was therefore causing an uproar in England and when it had become too much for her Mum to handle alone she bundled them up to a different country.
The ping of a notification from Winter's phone made her bid Naya goodbye and walk out of the gym.
She spotted her car parked beautifully on The East Wing, the parking space reserved for visitors and transfer students. It was her parking space now. She smiled liking the fact that her Mum could pull a few strings by her secretary making a phone call.
Now she didn't need to stir trouble as she tried to adjust.
Her convertible rolled to a stop in front of the Snack Bar eleven minutes later.
She stepped out and pushed her shades over her eyes. Then she purposely strode into the place.
It was her first time there. St. Williams has recommended it to her once she'd mentioned that she needed a great smoothie place.
The door closed gently behind her and she was glad it made no chime to attract attention to her.
