Snoggletog Warmth

Snow was falling over Dragon's Edge. Everything was just beautiful. It was white and calm. Hiccup looked out thought his window and then, he saw someone standing out in the snow. He knew who it was by the look of her hair.

Middle long, blonde hair. Astrid.

He smiled and pulled on his cloak. Hiccup walked outside and closed the door so the chilly air wouldn't wake up Toothless, who was sleeping peacefully on his rock slab. He walked and walked and walked until he reached Astrid and wrapped his arms around her body.

Astrid jumped a bit edits she turned around. Hiccup smiled at her. Astrid looked at him before she placed her hands on his warm chest and buried her face into his shoulder. Hiccup smiled and pulled her closer to keep her warm.

Since his father gave the cloak to Hiccup, it was much bigger than him so he could easily wrap it around Astrid to.

The blonde smiled into Hiccup's shoulder and neck before she wrapped her arms around his middle.

Hiccup leaned down his head and pressed a sweet kiss on her cheek.

The snow continued to fall on them but that didn't make them cold. They had each other.

Hiccup tightened his grip around the cloak and pulled it tighter around Astrid to keep he warm. He was warm enough since he had his cloak and the suit he wore but Astrid was in her almost drenched cloak.

"Astrid...come over to my place. It's nice and warm there. Come on..." Hiccup offered with a smile as he slowly started to lead her towards his hut. They slowly made their way towards the hut.

When they finally reached the hut, they went inside. Hiccup closed the door behind them and took off his cloak. He quickly pulled off Astrid's and gave her his.

"Thanks..."

"How long did you stay out there?" Hiccup asked. "About an hour...I don't know why thought."

Toothless grumbled and opened his eyes. He saw Astrid slightly shivering and blasted a few plasma blasts into the fire.

"Thanks Toothless" Astrid thanked before she slowly went over to him and patted his side. She then sat down next to him and pulled up her legs. Toothless nudged her hand and placed one of his wings over her.

Hiccup had walked away for a short second to gather some blankets but when he came back, he just dropped them on the bed.

He looked at Astrid and Toothless. "I got some blankets...but, you probably don't need them" Hiccup joked. Astrid laughed as she placed her hands over Toothless ribs.

"He's so warm...and protective" Astrid said with a smile. Hiccup walked over to them and say down by Toothless head. "That's just how he is" Hiccup said, patting Toothless' head.

The black dragon grumbled and laid his head onto Hiccup's lap. "Aren't you?" Toothless grumbled and turned his head against Astrid. He gently licked her hands, trying to warm them up.

Astrid smiled. "Thanks...your a sweet dragon..." Astrid mumbled as she slowly drifted into sleep.

Hiccup smiled and stood up. He walked over to Astrid and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before going off to make something to eat just in case Astrid would get hungry after waking up.

Astrid groined. She felt herself slowly rise before she slowly moved back down. "Toothless..." She whispered. The dragon warbled and nudged her hands. Astrid smiled and placed her hand on the dragons large head.

"Your finally awake?" Astrid herd Hiccup's voice ask. "Yeah...how long did I sleep for?"

"A couple of hours...Toothless made sure to keep you warm enough."

Astrid looked at the Night Fury. "Thanks again...I really appreciate it." The dragon grumbled and lifted his wing to let out Astrid. She patted the dragons side before she stood up.

Hiccup walked over to Astrid and held her in his arms. "I was worried about you for a while..." He said and kissed the side of her head.

Astrid snuggled into Hiccup's embrace before he let her go. Astrid pulled off Hiccup's cloak and hung it over his desk chair.

"Are you warm enough?" Hiccup asked with a smile. "Yeah..." She answered. Hiccup signed and led her towards the table.

"What is this?"

"I made some chicken soup while you where asleep..."

"You can cook?" Astrid asked, stunned. "Yeah..." He answered with a smile and pulled the blonde against him. He buried his nose into Astrid's hair and stayed there.

"Mmm..." Astrid signed and wrapped her arms around Hiccup's neck. He wrapped his other arm around her and pulled her against him.

"Your beautiful..." Hiccup whispered. Astrid giggled. "Your handsome..."

The two state there for a while.
