(A/N: Because the twins interrupted the Hiccstrid picnic.)

Astrid sighed in contentment. The sun's rays were warm on her skin as she leaned her head onto Hiccup's shoulder. "Finally, some alone time," Hiccup said softly, looking away from the two playing dragons and onto Astrid.

She smiled. "No distractions, no interruptions," She said and looked at him, laying her head onto his collar. Hiccup lifted his right arm and wrapped it around her waist.

"These are the moments I treasure the most," Hiccup whispered into her hair before pressing a small kiss to the top of her head. "Me too," Astrid said and lifted her head again.

She loved to just spend time with him. Snotlout always said that it was a waste of time but Astrid didn't care. From what she'd learned, spending time with Hiccup was everything but wasting time.

Hiccup pulled his arm away from her waist and scooted forwards a little before laying down, placing his head on the pillow. He looked up at the clear blue sky.

Astrid turned her head to look at her betrothed and a smile tugged it's way onto her lips. Hiccup closed his eyes and smiled softly.

The blonde moved and laid down on her side, her left arm supporting her head as she looked at him.

Hiccup's right hand was laying on his stomach. Her eyes shifted to his hand and she lifting her right arm to place it on his stomach, her hand taking a hold of his.

Hiccup sighed in contentment, his hand squeezing hers.

She looked at his face throughly. She didn't have many opportunities to take in all of him and when she did, she wanted to just look at him and ramble in her mind about all the things she loved about him.

She loved the freckles on his face. They were scattered all over the bridge of his nose, cheeks and chin and she swore she saw a few on his forehead whenever he brushed his fingers through his hair. She loved the small scar on his chin. She'd. love to know how it got there but Hiccup didn't know either and she didn't want to come of as crazy by asking his father now the scar on her fiancé's cheek got there.

She loved his hair. It was so auburn and shiny and soft. Although she hadn't gotten to do it many times, she loved to brush her hand through his locks, loving the feeling of the shaggy strands between her fingers.

His eyes...oh, his eyes. They were the color of the beautiful forest on the way to the Cove back on Berk. Heck, she was sure even the grass was jealous of how green his eyes were. She loved to get lost in his eyes. They reminded her of a long walk in the forest with him while holding hands.

Hiccup's eyes opened and he turned to look at her.

Astrid could swear that his eyes pierced into her soul and knocked the air out of her because she suddenly found herself breathing hard. "Are you staring at me?" Hiccup asked, a small lopsided smile on his lips.

Astrid blushed. "No...only a little," She confessed, smiling too. Hiccup laughed and turned his head towards the sky again, looking around in search of any clouds. There weren't any. Astrid scooted closer to him and laid her head on his shoulder, resting her arm between them.

She pulled her hand away from his and wrapped her arm around his stomach, holding him tightly.

Hiccup turned his head back towards her and his nose bumped her forehead. He smiled and pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Astrid?" He asked quietly. The blonde hummed, looking up at him. "Are we going to seal the deal when this whole battle is over?"

Astrid paused and sat up, looking down at him.

Hiccup leaned onto his elbows and looked at her. She didn't respond and he mentally slapped himself for asking such a thing. She probably wasn't even ready and he had brought up marriage.

"I'm sorry for asking that, Astrid-" Hiccup said but was interrupted by her. She turned around and put a finger on his lips. "No, Hiccup. It's fine. I guess I haven't thought that far yet," She said ad pulled her finger away from his mouth, her hand caressing his cheek. "When we get home to Berk and everything is okay then, yes, we can," She said and placed her other hand on his shoulder, pulling him up into a sitting position.

She leaned in and her lips grazed his lower lip for a second before pulling away. "That's the reason why I accepted the necklace, isn't it?" She asked. Hiccup's lips tugged into a lopsided smile and Astrid grinned at him.

He's such a dork.

Astrid moved and ran her hand down his neck and chest before pulling back. The look in his eyes were full of love. She smiled at him and leaned in, grabbing his wrist and placing his hand on her waist.

Hiccup smiled and placed his other hand on her hips, just below the lining of her skirt.

Astrid was sitting beside him, on her knees while kissing him.

At one time, she had to move because it felt like her thigh would start cramping and when they pulled away, she was sitting in his lap, straddling him. Hiccup blushed due to a very...stiff situation, - if you get what I mean.

Astrid blushed when she realized what was bothering him. "S-sorry," She apologized and proceeded to get off. Hiccup's hands held here there though. "No, It's f-fine," He said, his breath slightly labored.

"O-okay," Astrid stuttered, embarrassed because of what she'd done. While a big part of her mentally yelled at herself for doing this to him, a small part of her was proud that she could make him feel this way.

It was kind of relieving.

A small smile appeared on her lips and she gripped his shoulders firmly, making him look up at her. She leaned in and turned her head to kiss his jaw softly. "I-" She kissed him again. "Love-" Again, "You-" And again.

Hiccup sucked his breath in and the hand that was resting on her waist, traveled up her back and he held her close to him with a firm hand on her back. "I love you too," He whispered.

Astrid pulled back. She was just about to kiss him when Toothless and Stormfly trotted over to them and interrupted their moment.

Hiccup was kind of thankful for that. He had a painful situation to figure out and all he wanted right now was to jump into the cold ocean and stay there forever.

He probably made her uncomfortable. She was probably so disgusted by him right now. He didn't feel modest enough anymore. Astrid was his beautiful young woman that he was betrothed to and he just...lost control.

Astrid got up and pulled him up as well.

He quickly picked up the blanket and pillow and held it close to him, a blush on his cheeks. Astrid picked up the baskets and looked over at Hiccup.

Toothless grumbled and Hiccup quickly got on, clearly more embarrassed as time went on.

Dang. She wished they weren't out on the beach. If they would've been back on the edge or somewhere safe and closed in, she would've helped him but she couldn't. All she could do was to apologize and somehow make him not feel as embarrassed.

"Hiccup, wait," She said as she saw him wanting to take off. Said young man looked at her, his eyes wide. Astrid trotted over to him and placed her hand on his knee. "Listen, don't feel embarrassed about it. It's fine and natural. I'm okay with it, okay?" She asked and looked at him.

Hiccup smiled slightly at her. "Thanks. I just don't want to disgust you with it," He said and leaned down, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "You would never," She said and turned her head upward, locking her lips with his for a moment.

He kissed back and they stayed like that for a few moments.

By the time they pulled away, Toothless was anxious to get up in the air. Astrid laughed at the dragon and patted his head.

"Come on, I'll race you back to the Edge," Astrid said, trotting over to Stormfly and climbing up onto her back.

"Race to the Edge, it is."

(A/N: Aaaaand, I made it sexual in the end. What the fuck, Bri. Keep yourself together, damn.)
