Imagine a superhero again.

This superhero isn’t just saving people from monsters — they also go to work every day, send money home, help their little brothers and sisters with homework, and try to make their mom proud.
That’s a LOT of responsibilities.

Now, this superhero made a promise:
“I’ll help my sister go to college.”

But even superheroes have limits.
Sometimes, the money isn’t enough.
Sometimes, no matter how hard they try, they just can’t do everything at once.

So even though they wanted to help their sister go to college right away, they couldn’t — and that made them feel really, really bad.

But does that mean they’re a bad superhero?

No.
It just means they’re a complicated one.

They’re trying to be strong for everyone:
For their mom, for their siblings, even when they’re tired, or scared, or sad inside.

And sometimes they say:
“Bawi lang ko.”
That means, “I’ll make up for it.”

Because even if they couldn’t do it now, they still care.
They still love their family.
They’re still trying, every single day.

And that’s what makes them a real hero — not that they’re perfect, but that they keep going, even when it’s hard.
