We walked down Central Park. I walked ahead of him storming my way through people. My memories, everything that had happened since I awoke with amnesia had returned. I wanted answers. The only thing I know is it had been a year since Emma, Henry, and I left Storybrooke. I felt anger rise through the warmth of my cheeks. Mostly because I was disappointed. This entire time I was in bliss, convinced that I had a family.
Finally, I whirled around to face Pan who had been smiling like a wild man since earlier. I was annoyed that he was so proud of himself.
"Why aren't you dead?" I got to the point. Last time I saw him, Mr. Gold jammed a dagger through his back.
He tilted his head to the side. "Not happy to see me?"
"Answer the damn question." I glared, raising my voice.
"Is that the way to treat your hero?"
"You're no hero." I knew he was finding the whole situation amusing and I hated myself for trusting him before I regained my memories.
It was as if he read my mind and for a second he actually looked serious.
"Aria, I'm here to take you back to Storybrooke," he told me with those piercing sea green eyes. "We need you- I need you," he explained taking a step closer to me.
"The curse," I whispered to myself remembering the reason we had left in the first place.
"Hook is waiting for us back at your home. Emma and Hook are waiting to take us back to Storybrooke."
"Hook? You two hated each other. You were evil? Why is it that you are working together now?" None of it was making since. "And Storybrooke? I thought Regina said it would cease to exist?"
"I guess I just turned a new leaf," he said smugly. "It's a long story that I'll be happy to explain later. So much happened in the Enchanted Forest and there's a new curse awaiting," he explained.
"Do they remember? Mary Margaret, David, Regina... do they?"
"We only had two doses," he explained. "Emma and you are the only others besides me and Hook."
I nodded trying to keep up, but it was slightly too much.
"So? You're actually back? But not as an evil villain this time?" I looked up, needing to hear it from him at least one more time.
He shrugged his shoulders. "I guess not, why? You disappointed?"
I shook my head. "I just don't believe it. What happened between then and now that made you change your mind."
Pan looked like he wasn't ready to answer that. He looked away avoiding my locked gaze.
"Seriously?" I just could accept it for what it was. I needed answers.
"Yes, Aria, seriously. They best I can give you right now is that I had a lot of time to think. Please just let it go for now."
Pan had never said please in a more genuine way. And just for that, I let it go, for now. I sighed, shutting my eyes for a moment, knowing very well he was watching me. When I opened them again, I saw Ty coming right at us with a glass bottle.
"Pan!" I yelled shoving him aside with me. I winced when the bottle crashed on Pan, letting glass fly everywhere. I looked down at the sight of blood trickling down. It wasn't that bad, but still, what Ty did was dangerous.
Pan moved me aside quickly and turned around. "What the bloody hell!" He said.
Ty looked furious. It horrified me. I had never seen him that way before. He was like a completely different person from the one I knew.
