Monsters

As of lately, I found myself more and more in Granny's diner. Pan had taken it upon himself to make me the most perfect hot cocoa. This time, he was quite close.  I took another sip of my hot cocoa, enjoying the chocolatey taste.

The doorbell of the diner rang as some kids walked in and sat down at a booth. Last night Emma told me about Marian's meltdown. Upon waking up, she was told about her fate and Emma's messing of her fate leading her several years into the future. Though something told me that the infatuation between Regina and Robin was withheld from the conversation. Regina took it pretty rough. T Mariam, Regina was still the Evil Queen and being called a monster must not be easy. Regina has even been avoiding Henry, which must mean she is most definitely not okay. I felt for her, truly.

"Hey I just finished my shift. Do you want to do anything?" Asked Pan quirking a brow as he wiped the table off a bit with a rag.

I shook my head and continued to sip.

"Shouldn't you be at school," he nudged his head over to the kids who had their bags in a pile on the ground.

I didn't want to say that I've been ditching, but I was. I woke up this morning with the horror of classes but I decided to train a bit with my magic and hung out with Allan instead. We had begun to hang out some more lately. Slightly to Pan's dismay, he didn't say much about it. And despite the fact that I knew he bit his tongue, he was being nice. Allan had been a good friend, and for a while I neglected that. However, lately Allan was acting weird. He would avoid talking about school and would fidget. He wasn't acting like himself at all, sweet and timid. He was hiding something. I told Pan about it, but he brushed it off.

I looked up at Pan who had been staring at me. The towel he had, now gone. He smiled before looking outside. I immediately saw his jaw clench as screams erupted from outside. A loud roar followed by heavy thuds shook the ground.

"Will we ever have a break?"  I heard him groan.

We both bolted for the doors and watched in horror as an icy giant monster threatened to destroy the town.  It was nothing I had ever seen before. The monster was huge. Incredibly huge.

"Evil snowman!" I heard someone yell as everyone continued to run in panic.
I spotted Hook and Emma staring down the giant beast and rushed to their side trying my best to avoid colliding with the people. I knew without looking, that Pan was next to me.

"How the hell does that even happen?" I yelled over the chaos.

"Seems like an anti-Frosty the Snowman," Emma said. "But whatever it is we need to stop it!"

Pan was way ahead of us as he jumped onto the back of the Snowman with a sword in his hand. He swung his sword but the blow didn't even leave a scratch.

"Peter!" I yelled as Pan lost his grip and fell to the ground. Luckily, the snowman walked off completely ignoring him.

I ran to his side and checked him. He was okay, but annoyed. His head was bleeding only slightly as well as the scratches on his hand. I cupped his face in my hands. "Are you okay?" I looked him over again.

"Of course I am," he replied, his eyes dilated.  Pan noticed me looking and didn't hesitate, he pulled me in for a long warm hug. It wasn't sure if he was truly relieved from the scare or jst taking advantage of the situation. Either way I didn't care. I was happy he was okay.
