Unshadowing Pan

The Door

"Where have you been?" Asked Pan,"I've been looking all over you. You just disappeared out of no where."
"No where,"i said,"it's just- You miss it don't you Neverland. Tell me if it returned again and you could go back, would you?

He laughed," of course I would and I'd take you with me."

"No. I belong here. You'd have to choose. So choose."

"Aria,"he sighed in a serious tone,"you can't make me choose."

"Why because you'd pick neverland? Because your heart belongs in neverland?"

"God! Why are you acting this way. What has gotten into you?  When did you become so needy? I mean you really expect me to pick what my whole life was centered around versus some girl?"

"Some girl? That's who i am to you? Just some girl."

"No I-"

"No we are done talking," I yelled,"I shouldn't have even brought it up." I walked away leaving Pan in anger. I needed to get away. I needed some space.

"Aria!" Henry was across the street when he called after me and ran over. "We found it!"

"Wait you found the author?" I asked surprised,"where is he?"

"August helped us."

"August?"

"Pinocchio,"he said,"its a long story,"he explained after seeing the confused look in my face. "Come on you need to come with us." He quickly grabbed my hand and we ran to wherever it was that he lead the way.

We ended up meeting Emma and Regina at her home. They had open a book page to an old red door. "What's going on here? I thought you said you found the author?" I asked.

"We did,"Regina said,"he's in the book. The red door is enchanted."

"So what's with the copy?" They had two
Identical pages."

"We planning on tricking Gold into that bling they have the page,"Emma explained,"that'll put us two steps ahead of them so that we find the author before they do."

"Only problem is I don't think the pages are identical enough,"said Henry.
"Well maybe they don't need a paper copy. Why not give them a different kind? I mean they only care about how the door looks like. The don't know that that's actually the door."

Regina smiled,"I like the way you think . I hate to admit it but you're kinda growing on me,"she said while snapping a picture of the page on her phone to send it to Gold."I should probably get going." She went to hug Henry.

"Mom it's okay,"he said.

"I know. I just don't know if- when I'll be back."

"Don't worry, everything will work out in the end,"he said,"we will get you your happy ending."

Instead of going out to do my own little thing I had decided to be with Emma instead. I needed to avoid pan for a while. Our nasty dispute must have really put a dent into our-whatever we are. And I couldn't help but think it was my fault. After all it was but I gotta give some credit to Evan. I just let him get to my head and I shouldn't have.

"You look a little out of it today,"observed Emma,"did something happen to you and Pan that I don't know about?"

Look I don't want to talk about it,"I said.
