Going to school was the worst thing that I could possibly do right now. Instead of saving Pan, I was trying to save my failing grades. If grades could kill, I would have been dead by now.
"You know there are tutors at school that can help you," Henry said packing up his school work. He had just finished it, but I was still on it.
"No time," I mumbled staring down blankly at the papers in front of me.
I felt someone stand beside the table we were sitting at in Granny's. I looked up at Ruby. She was smiling politely with a mug. Classic Hot cocoa with cinnamon."Thanks Ruby!" Henry said.
"Yeah no problem," she smiled," and this one is on me." Henry thanked her and happily drank his cocoa.
"I can get you one to, Aria," she said,"if you'd like."
I averted my eyes towards her,"no thanks. Thanks for offering though."
She grinned almost disappointed. "You know Aria, if you ever need to talk. I'm always here." Ah, so she knows about Pan. Lately everyone in town has been freaking out about the news. They are more afraid of Pan then they are of the Snow Queen.
"I'm perfectly fine Ruby, Thanks,"I said through gritted teeth.
Ruby only nodded catching on and walked away. I felt like a complete brat to do that to her, but I couldn't let anyone pity me. I wasn't upset that Pan was gone, I was angry.
"Well," I sighed shoving my papers into my bag,"guess I'll figure this out later. I have to meet up with Emma anyways."
"Yeah Im actually helping out Rumple today at the shop," he grabbed his bag and swing it over his shoulder. "Oh and Aria?"
"Yes," I said.
"Be careful. Pan is still out there-"
I closed my eyes,"I know," I said. "I'll be careful."
I was supposed to meet Emma up at the sheriff's office. I parked right by her yellow bug and walked around the building. All the windows were frozen shut. There was no way of getting in. I tried using my magic but it was no use. I just wasn't strong enough.
I pounded on the doors with my fist. "Open up!" I yelled. It was no use. I couldn't do it I just couldn't break through.
"Emma!" I yelled again. She had to know I was here. She could be in danger. "Emma!"
Behind my the building wall burst. Bricks were sent flying into the lot. I ducked. I squinted my eyes and watched in horror as Emma walked out. She was sacred out of her mind and her hands were glowing violently.
"Emma?" I asked.
"Get away from me!" She said backing up in panic.
"Aria," I heard the Snow Queen say as she appeared behind me. "I was hoping you'd get here before the others."
I frowned,"what did you do?"
The Snow Queen smiled. "I did what I had to do to show Emma who she really was. It's funny though. Buy why don't you and I have a chat as well?"
"I want nothing to do with you."
"Get away from her," I heard Emma say from behind.
