My head was spinning. I couldn't focus on anything. How could Pan have forgotten everything that has happened. And now he's back to focusing on the one thing he ever cared about before, Neverland and his power. How could I let this happen? How could I have been so stupid. I fell back in my bed listening to the voices outside my door. I needed to clear my head and being here wasn't helping much.
"How's Aria doing?" I heard Emma ask.
"She's still coping," I heard Henry say,"she really cares about Pan and now that he's back to being evil well there's no telling what would happen."
I needed to get out of here.
I opened up the window from my room and looked down. It was about two stories high but I could make it by going down the tree. I gripped a branch and pulled myself against it. I was careful with every step. I slowly made myself down to the ground and jumped as I did. Reaching the ground I sighed of relief. I was out of there. Surely they'd find out I had been gone but at least I didn't have to worry about that right now.
I left the car where it was, so that way no one noticed I was gone and ran off instead. I wasn't exactly sure where I was running off to, but I knew I needed to blow off some steam and this was the best way to do it.
I ran and ran until my legs couldn't take the burning sensations anymore. I had gone past the town and into the hiking trail people would use. I took different turns and found myself wondering away from the track. I wasn't lost, I knew how to get back,
But still, there was something about this area that gave me a bad vibe. As I stopped by some trees I felt my mouth and throat were dry and ached. I scrunched down to my knees and stared at the dirt below me.Pan was evil. There's no telling what he would do this time to get what he wants. What I don't understand is why Evan would keep him alive and if anything, make him more capable of grunting him, Pan himself. It made no sense. What was Evan getting out of this?
"Well look who we have here," I heard a way too familiar voice say. I closed my eyes and cursed. It was him. I looked up and stared at Pan, back to his old clothes from Neverland which brought way too many unpleasant memories,"I came to collect," he said crossing his arms.
"Collect what?"
"A little something for the Snow Queen."
He trotted back and forth. "You know I was told you were the reason why I had ended up in this wretched place. It was because of you I don't have my Neverland," he chuckled darkly," what a shame, I thought you were quite, pretty too."
In a second I was pinned against the rough bark of the tree with a hand clasped tightly around my neck. I felt him left up his arm against my throat. I struggled to go on my toes as I fought for breath. His grip only tightened. I needed air. I placed my hands on his and dug into his skin,"Peter," I managed to croak. I couldn't breath. I could feel my wind pipe closing up on me.
Peter Pan smiled darkly,"Im sorry what was that? I can't hear you." He squeezed tighter. He was now teasing me with death.
"Please-" I begged. For a split second I thought I noticed sympathy in his eyes as his hand loosened a bit. He furrowed his eyebrows. I wasn't sure if maybe he had remembered something, but I took the advantage and sent him flying to the ground, using my used magic.
"I am not afraid of you Peter Pan." I adjusted myself and placed a hand on my sore throat.
He smirked,"only those who are really smart know to be afraid of me." He eyed my hand around my throat,"might need an ice pack for that. By the way."
