I wanted to run away. That very instant I just wanted to run as far as possible. I wanted to scream and cry and hide until my problem just dissolved or disappeared into thin air. And right now...my problem was right in front of me.

"Don't I get a hug or something," asked Evan smiling foolishly.

I clenched my jaw. He was different. His long shoulder length locks now cut as an undercut. His eyes more cunning and witty than before.

"What are you doing here," I croaked fighting back an urge to make him go away.

"I made- we made a promise," he said," or did you forget?" He grabbed a silver chain around his neck and pulled it over his head. He held out the ring, the promise ring.

I stammered back," Evan-"

"Aria-"

"What the hell is going on here?!" Someone yelled.

I quickly spun around coming face to face with Hook. Thankful that it wasn't Pan.

Hook seemed confused rather than annoyed. He was looking at Evan almost worried and angry.

"Aria, who's this," he asked gesturing to Evan who had the same facial expression and Hook.

"Evan an old friend of Aria's."

"Well mate," his voice was cold and dark," you should go. I won't have Aria hanging around people like you. Understand."

Evan smiled mockingly.

I furrowed my eyes at Hook. He had never defended me before. I leaned over to Hook,"what are you doing?"

"Well you are technically Emma's daughter so I have to keep you out of trouble, even if it means going pirate."

Evan heard and put two and two together," you are that dumb pirate Pan used to tell stories about to my sister? Aren't you," he asked.

A sister?

Hook seemed taken back,"you've been to Neverland."

Even smirked.

I pulled on Hook's arm," just let me handle this, and don't mention a word to anyone and I mean anyone about this,"I whispered harshly. Hook knew what I had meant. I knew he wasn't going to tell Pan and for that I felt fortunate.

I quickly grabbed Evan's arm dragging him inside the car. "You've change," he said. "You're more of a leader than before. You're not afraid. I like it-" I slammed the door before he could say another thing and ran to the other side.

I strapped in making sure he kept quiet and sped off quickly before Pan could notice.

As I drove I thought to go to the forest. There we could talk without anyone disturbing or interrupting us. And so I did drive to the forest.

We stood opposite of each other. Evan seemed to be admiring me, but after all that's happened I wasn't in the mood for a long time no see.

I stared into his eyes. I couldn't believe that he was here. I took all my strength to build up the courage to finally want to say something,"Why-"

He cut me off.

"I was stuck in a situation I couldn't get out of. I got a message and found out you were back I cleaned up that mess and rushed here. I knew id bump into you-"he said cheerfully.
