Waking up I felt Pan's arm wrapped around me keeping me up from falling over. Pan's head was resting on mine. As comfy as I hated to admit I was, I picked up my head causing Pan to jolt. I guess he had also fallen asleep. He looked around as if he was lost then looked over towards me, his eyes blinking away the tiredness.

"Glad to see you two are finally awake," Emma said as we drove past the deep green trees. Strangely enough the trees looked familiar which only meant we were almost to Storybrooke.

I couldn't wait to be back, though a part of me was also nervous. It was no telling how different Storybrooke could be after a year. But I also couldn't stop thinking about the fact that up until yesterday, I was living a completely different life. Not to mention the one and only Peter Pan who caused the curse somehow had a change of mind and was sitting beside me.

"I don't get it. How are you even alive?" Emma asked Pan through the rear view mirror. It was a good question, one I was surprised I hadn't asked myself.

"I'm not too sure," he answered honestly. "All I remember is Rumple killing me one second and the next waking up in the middle of the woods in the Enchanted Forest. Hook found me and tied me up. Then he had told me Aria, you, and Henry were in New York. He said something about a curse," Pan explained. "I couldn't recall anything for a while, but then remembered what I had done. I have a ot to regret."

"So is this your way of making it up to us?" I asked. Knowing him he would have never help Hook without a price. He was evil after all. So why do good?

"Let's just say. There was nothing for me in the Enchanted Forest, I was alone. It took me a while but I finally gained Hook's and the others' trust after helping them get somewhere they needed to be," I felt his gaze on me. I looked the other way through the window and toward the trees. It wasn't the answer I was expecting. I also wasn't prepared for this newfound honesty.

The car fell silent once again. Every once in a while Pan's shoulder would bump mine. I was extremely aware of him the entire time. I didn't know why he was making me so nervous when at the same time I didn't even know if I should forgive him. He screwed up big time doing what he had done. An though he says the others had forgiven him, I felt like I needed more detail still.

I kept my eyes forward and stared out the window. Just before we crossed the town line Hook awoke.

"You're awake," Emma said, turning over to look at him.

"Well if you missed me that much you could have just woken up," Hook replied. I rolled my eyes. Hook flirting with Emma was the last thing I would have suspected. Also, I still felt a bit strange that Emma was my mother for the past year. I knew it was something me and her needed to discuss.

"Well, we're back," said Emma, finally crossing the town line. We drove through town stopping in front of Emma's place. Even though it had only been a year, my false memories made it feel like an eternity. We all stepped out of the car. Emma woke up Henry who yawned and slowly got out and made his way alongside me.

At the corner of my eye I spotted someone who looked familiar. I didn't catch a full glimpse, but I was curious enough to check.

"Hey I'll be right back," I spoke up, letting Emma know in particular.

"Where are you going?" Emma said cautiously, pointing at Henry with her eyes. For a second I didn't know what she meant, but then I realized Henry still had no memory of Storybrooke. To him, he was still living the false lives we were given by Regina after we left a year ago. Which meant I had to be cautious about acting clueless about knowing the town.

"I saw a store just around the block, I want to go check it out," I lied.

Emma nodded alon. "Don't stray too long. We'll be waiting for you."
