Author POV:

The complete silence feels very suffocating and toxic in the room that Brick doesn't know how to respond at first besides letting out a small chuckle, and saying...

"Right, well don't worry, It's good." Brick assures her, and tries to act as casual as he can be, but it seems like Blossom noticed his sudden change of tone of voice. She pulls a chair right next to Brick, and sits down before letting out a deep breath, "We need to talk."

Brick gulps, and he doesn't feel like they should be alone at the moment or even talk about anything, but Blossom grabs onto his arm to stop him from moving another inch away from her.

"Please, just listen to me." Blossom pleads, and Brick feels his chest throb when he notices her teary eyes through the moonlight. But before Brick breaks and agrees, he hears a yell startle both him, and Blossom.

"Get away from him!" Brake yells, and shoves Blossom back with a hard push, "Brake, what the-" Brick looks at how Brake stands in front of him with full protection on his mind. "Dad stay back from this women!" He commands, and is about to throw another self defense move when Blossom tries getting back up, but stops when he feels his father grab onto his arms to hold him back.

"Don't." He says, "No, no, he's right." Blossom cleans the dust off her clothes and stands back up straight, "That's what I need to talk to you about." Blossom takes in a deep breath before letting it out, "Brick, I don't think I belong here."

Brick looks confused, and Brake doesn't have any words, "I can't seem to remember anything, but I do remembered you vanished, Brick." As those words leave Blossom's lips, Brake looks away from Blossom to his father who still seems to have a difficult time understanding.

As Brooke and Burst arrived to Boomer's house, the boys silently slipped into Brooke's bedroom without making any noises, but it seems like it doesn't even matter because Boomer isn't even home.

"If they are alive, where could they be?" Brooke asked his cousin, "From what we know is that our grandfather doesn't know where they could be, but he does know what happened to them yet can't tell us because of our fathers prevented him from saying a word to us about the reasons. So the only option we have is to ask for help from our other grandfather, the Professor could maybe know something about this."

"What about grandpa Jojo?" Brooke suggested, and Burst shook his head "If our devil grandfather can't even tell us then neither would grandpa Jojo, especially with how bad terms they all had left on." Burst sighs, and checks his cellphone for any text messages from Brake, but nothing new is seen on his phone.

Maybe it wasn't a good idea to let him go by himself  Burst thinks.

"Then let's just go to bed, and we'll go tomorrow to the Professor to ask him for help." Brooke tells him, letting out a small yawn and begins to get comfortable in his bed.

"Yeah, you're right. Let's make sure to have Brake with us tomorrow when we go." Brooke just nods in agreement to Burst and waits for him to turn off the lights in the bedroom.

"What the hell are you talking about lady?" Brake barks out, and glares at the women with suspicion. "Watch your language Brake, this women is your- um...your-" Brick freezes again, and he can only stare at Blossom, as if asking her permission to tell him.

But Brake sighs,  "Dad, I know." he tells him, and Brick's eyes widen, "You know?"

"Of course I do. I may not have a clear vision of how my mother looks like, but I do know she isn't her." Brake points to Blossom's neck, "Check her neck." and Brick doesn't hesitate when he grabs onto Blossom's arm and holds her in place before turning her around and moving her hair out of the way.
