Epilogue

Gianna's POV

The traditional wedding march started to play and they opened the the double doors for me to enter. Nakakapit ako sa kaliwang braso ni tito. "There's no backing out now Gianna. I told you countless times na pwede ka pang nagback out pero ayaw mo," nagbibirong sabi ni tito. Nilingon ko siya nakita ko ang nagbabadyang luha sa mga mata niya. I know he's trying damn hard not to emotional right now. I just hope he doesn't fail.

Malapit na kami sa altar nang makita ko ang isa pang lalaki na parang maluluha rin. He was waiting for me along with his family. My soon to be family too.

Nang makarating kami sa altar, nagpahid na talaga ng luha ang nahihintay sa akin. My God, he wasn't even this emotional when I gave up on him a few years ago.

"Hurt her again Ryan and I swear you won't get away with it again," Tito threatened. Tumango na lang si Ryan at tinanggap ang kamay kong inabot ni Tito sa kanya.

This is it! This is the day we've both been waiting for the last five years. Para sa araw na to. All the pain was worth just to get to this day. The insecurities, the cool offs and break ups, even the physical pain was all worth it. Basta siya lang makasama ko sa araw na to.

"Do you, Ryan Vargas, take Gianna Bautista, to be your lawfully wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, til death do you part?" tanong sa kanya ng pari.

Ngumisi lang siya at hinigpitan ang hawak sa kamay ko. "I do Father," he solemnly answered. Nakahinga ako nang maluwag. It was always my subconscious fear that he'd say no. I know, it's irrational, but I can't help it. After how many times I gave up on him, the fear of him giving up on me was always on the back of my mind.

Nung ako na naman ang tanungin ng pari, halos di pa siya matapos magsalita, agad na akong nag "I do." Natawa tuloy ang mga bisita.

I was fidgeting discreetly until the priest finally said "you may now kiss the bride." Agad namang humarap sa akin si Ryan at inalis ang belo na nakatakip sa mukha ko. He stared at me intently for a few minutes before claiming my lips in a passionate kiss. Dun ko lang napatunayan sa sarili ko na hindi ito panaginip. Narinig ko ang palakpakan ng mga bisita. "May I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Ryan Alexi Vargas!"

Tumigil sa paghalik sa akin si Ryan at sabay naming hinarap ang nagngingitiang mga tao na dumalo sa kasal naming. Humigpit na naman ang hawak niya sa kamay ko at nagkatinginan kaming dalawa.

"I love you," he murmured sweetly before wrapping an arm around my waist.

As always, tamad akong mag isip ng vows para sa wedding scene. Sorry not sorry. I know. this must one of the crappiest chapters, or even endings I have ever done. It wasn't supposed to end this way. But then again, I have no idea how it was really supposed to end. Starting sa bed scene nila, wala na talaga sa plano hanggang sa chapter na to. Bear with it hahahaha. May special chapters pa. Pero matatagalan pa. Kaya di ko muna ilalagay na "completed" to. Thanks for reading guys. :)
