Clarke's POV-
Bellamy finally stopping in the parking lot of the restaurant "hey, Clarke, we're here." he began in a low voice nudging my shoulder as I was just waking up from my quick nap, I was so tired lately, almost always. "I'm going to get out to help you. Okay?" he continued as I was still half asleep, feeling too tired to say a word. He opened my car door and I sleepily climbed out of the car, becoming more and more awake as we walked.

"Bellamy, what if they hate me?" I pouted.

"Clarke, it's going to be your mother, my mother, and my sister. They all already love you, what do you mean 'what if they hate me?'" he asked bewildered as he placed my hand in his.

"Yeah, but I mean maybe they like me, but as a wife, as a mother?" I questioned. I felt so depressed and I didn't know why, I felt so much self doubt.

"Clarke, what's wrong?"

I wanted to tell him but honestly, I didn't know, I wasn't sure if it was just me being tired or what, but I just felt like as we entered that everyone starred at me with shame and disappointment "I- I don't know, I just feel so much self doubt, and I feel so insecure, like everyone's looking at me in disappointment." I buried my face in my hands as we took our seats before I continued "Why do you even want me?" my voice almost cracked "Do you hate me?"

"Clarke," Bellamy said wrapping his arm around my shoulders "you are perfect and I want you because you're the only girl who's ever cared about me for more then my looks and you're the only girl that I can honestly say I fell for." he stated reassuring me that he loved me whispering words into my ear that I never ended up making out because my mind was running rampid with my own thoughts.

"Bellamy, do you mean it?" I sniffled looking up at him wide-eyed.

"Of course." he responded pulling me into an embrace as our mothers and his sister showed up. I guess they all came together because they all got here at the exact same time.

"Hey mom! Happy birthday!" Bellamy announced as he got up to hug her.

"Happy Birthday!" I exclaimed as well.

"Well, did you two order yet?" my mother started.

"Yes, have you? Because I'm absolutely starving!" Octavia agreed laughing a little.

"Well actually, we were waiting for you I thought I'd be nice to have our food come out all together!" Bellamy proclaimed

"Ugh! That's my brother the 'gentleman' when no one needs him to be." Octavia complained out of hunger, partially joking

We all eventually ordered and everyone talked, Bellamy and I decided to wait until our food was at least out on the table before we started announcing things. Bellamy's mother as well as mine told stories about when we were little, and Bellamy's mother seemed almost shocked to hear about the shopping trips that we had, which ending up us always bumping into each other. Everyone seemed to be happy, having a great time, talking all around the table, but I stayed silent, laughing and putting on a fake smile when someone made a joke, or when Bellamy gestured to me, but other then that I was just completely silent, scared to say something that would get in the way, or something insignificant that people, were annoyed by. Even though they were family, I felt like I didn't fit in. Anywhere. And then I saw our food being served.

Bellamy's POV-
I saw our food being set on the table by a young, brunette woman, who was thin and short. "Here, enjoy!" She smiled with a voice that was high pitched.

"Thank you!" Came from all of us. Except Clarke, who was quiet the entire time.

"Hey, are you okay?" I whispered to her.

"Yeah, um, fine!"'she responded putting on a smile. I knew something was up and the smile was fake, I could see it in her eyes.

"Hey, come here for a minute" I said grabbing her wrist leading her away from the table  asking the rest of them to excuse us. I pulled her outside where no one else was around, so that she could tell me what's wrong without anyone else listening in. "Hey what's wrong?"

"Nothi-" she was cut off by tears welling up in her eyes so she stopped talking and shook her head trying to signal that everything was okay.

"Clarke." I sighed, "tell me what's wrong. I am here for you. Just please, what happened." I pleaded. Clarke leaned into me and I felt light tears wet my shirt. "Shh." I whispered rubbing the small of her back and kissing the top of her head. "Shh" I repeated.

She pulled back "I-I just feel like I do-don't fit in, bec-cause I jus-just can't do it anymore and I just um fee-feel like, they um do-don't want me th-there..." Her words trailed off as she spoke into my chest, she was hyperventilating trying to finish what she was trying to say

"Shh, Clarke." I did my best trying to comfort her "just stop crying and catch your breath ok?" She nodded "it's ok, it's ok" I continued, rocking her side to side, embracing her in my arms soon she stopped crying and I waited for her to want to walk back in greeting everybody. She said that she still wanted to tell everybody, everything. We sat back down at the table, Clarke's eyes a little bloodshot, but not to noticeable from a distance.

"So, we um need to tell you guys a few things." Clarke caught their attention, I think maybe because that's the first thing she said all night, besides 'Happy Birthday' "Bellamy and I are getting married!!" She exclaimed full of excitement. "On September 5th" she added in. Our mothers talked, Abby, Clarke's mother, already knowing. And Octavia clapping her hands as she joined in on all the chatter, even Clarke was involved in their conversation too. "Ok, but we have another thing we'd like you guys to know," she took a deep breath and I gave her a reassuring look "I- I um" she stuttered "I'm pregnant!" She announced, but not too loudly. Everybody was silenced in shock, and I think a little disbelief, maybe a few other things added in there as well. Clarke looked up at me nervous.

"Oh my god." My mother spoke up, almost in a whisper. "Congrats sweetie!!" My mother walked to Clarke and hugged her, Abby and Octavia following her. Clarke gave out a sigh of relief in everybody's approval.

Soon we all started walking to our cars and Clarke and I got into the car together "well, I think it ended up being more of a celebration for us instead of a celebration in honor of my wonderful mother's birth." I joked

"Yeah, whatever. I'm exhausted!" She told me falling asleep in the passenger's seat.

"I love you Clarke."my told her in her peaceful sleep.
