Andrew and Bexley Callen are brother and sister. But they're not the kind of siblings you'd usually come across. Most siblings have parents raising them, but in this case, neither parent is in the picture, instead Andrew has been Bexley's legal guardian since she was 10 years old, he was only 22 years old himself. Want to know why? Well, it's revealed within the first few chapters of this story. This story follows both siblings as they navigate a fresh start in a town called Emerald Mills, Andrew- best known as 'Drew' at 29 years old, is a History teacher, and 17 year old Bexley- best known as 'Bex', is a sixth form student. The story begins in September as they begin their journey at Emerald High, although they moved into the town during the summer. They're both ready for this fresh start away from their past family history, little do they know just how much drama- good and bad, is in store for them both here. Between settling into a new town and making friends, they also manage to make a couple of enemies. Crushes are formed, relationships develop, and some things one would wish to be a simple nightmare, which you'd wake up from and be relieved that it wasn't real, become a reality.
Follow Bex and Drew as they try desperately to leave their past behind and focus on a positive, safe and secure future, where nobody knows them and so they can't judge them- until the secret escapes.
