NUCLEAR FAMILY is the first special album from cube entertainment female soloist, ryun, released on her 10th anniversary, february 14, 2026. it includes eight tracks in total including the title track nuclear family and the promotional tracksscott & zelda and good years (featuring khalid). the album comes in two versions: fever and ferver, with each version having a bonus trackmr. & mrs. fitzgerald (ferver) or good years (featuring khalid) (fever).
the album takes creative liberties on the relationship between famous american writer, f. scott, and his wife, zelda fitzgerald. their relationship was infamous for it's turbulent love, passion, and mental health struggles. ryun uses their relationship as a framework to explore concepts of the unattainability of the "american dream," nuanced relationships, and questions about what true happiness is, wrapped up in sensual wordplay and catchy beats.
there was a lot the went into this project for ryun. not only acting as her tenth mini album, released on the tenth anniversary since her debut; but also one of her biggest artist endeavors. she spent several months planning and researching the people behind the concept, wanting to respect their memory while being able to tell a compelling story. much of the writing for the album took place during her 2025 world tour, while recording occurred during the winter of 2025.
she would originally want to release a full album with fifteen songs, but those songs would be cut down to seven in favor of the story she wanted to tell. she would keep two additional songs from the original fifteen, to act as closure to different versions of the album. "fever" and "ferver" being a sort of bad and good end to the narrative.
the addition of khalid on the bonus track "good years", came about during the writing of the album when she reached out to him to ask for his assistance. khalid co-wrote the song, and it would be released on march 11, 2026, and promoted separately from the album.
the release of the album would also coincide with the release of tickets for her tenth anniversary concert tour, "heartbreak on the big stage", that would begin in early june and end in august. she will tour for ten weeks in asia (south korea, taiwan, thailand, japan), europe (madrid, spain), north america (atlanta, georgia) and south america (são paulo, brazil).

01 scott & zelda — promoted "we do not exist in any other instant"
— is ryun's take on scott and zelda's relationship which was rumored to be one-sided and toxic. ryun plays with lyrics that are as romantic as they are suggestive.
02 to have and to hold "you can't stand the thought of a real beating heart"
— their wedding day. they are excited, hopeful, and full of life for the future. cracks are already beginning to show in their relationship but they are so in love they ignore them.
