Third Person POV

Returning back to the original site, it was quite a scene to behold.

As soon as Ochako and the rest went off in their separate directions with the top officers of Celestial Dragon, a large number of heroes from all over, including students from UA and Shiketsu, stormed the site to challenge the members of Deku's organization. Nezu was not lying when he said he was willing to fight Deku head on even if it meant certain defeat. This goes to show that if it weren't for Ochako and her group, this would've truly been a suicide mission.

Kirishima saw some of his former classmates within the mix, and a flash of pain and recognition was seen in his eyes. He realized just how insane this entire situation was, and he missed the times where they were just joking around in a classroom with Aizawa strangling them every now and then with his wraps. He had wished for things to go even slightly back to normal after this, although perhaps that was simply wishful thinking.

"You'd better not be underestimating me, boy." Slade called aloud from in front of him. His arm was still covered in darkness, showing he was ready to attack at any time.

"You're ignoring me right now, but you'd better be careful because that could be the last mistake you ever make." Slade continued as he narrowed his eyes.

"Your threats aren't very original, huh bro." Kirishima responded easily as he focused his attention back to Slade. "I mean, even your outfit, you look so...basic."

Slade's eye twitched at Kirishima's comments as he glared at him, before Kirishima continued: "I mean look at you man. Generic insults, generic emo look—at least Tokoyami has a bird head so he's unique. You look like a generic 'I'm mad at the world' type, and I just simply can't get down with that, bro."

Slade grit his teeth as the darkness around his arm grew. He was beginning to get tired of always being looked down upon. Usually it's by his fellow members of the core five of Celestial Dragon, but now by this guy?

This was absolutely unacceptable.

Slade charged Kirishima instantly. He moved with incredible swiftness, but Kirishima was able to keep up with his movements. Slade's darkness-infused punch connected with the ground and left a massive crater in its wake.

The shockwave from it was impressive, as Kirishima had already jumped back beforehand, but was now being blown away by the force of the punch. He recovered quickly and landed a bit away before looking up to see the aftermath.

Slade was on one knee, still in his punching animation. He looked at the crater around him and lets out a satisfied smirk. He then turns his head towards Kirishima and stands up fully.

"I do not care what you 'get down with'," Slade began as he began making his way out of the crater and stood on level ground across from Kirishima once more. "But I won't stand for you insulting my very being. I grow tired of people constantly thinking they can put me down, and that will end today."

"Well then let's see what you got, Protagonist A." Kirishima egged on as Slade immediately rushed him.

Slade began launching a series of physical attacks, looking to overpower Kirishima. Kirishima with his new and improved speed was trying to dodge each attack as much as possible. Slade went for a right hook, Kirishima whipped his head back. Slade went for a left kick, Kirishima stepped to the right. Every move Slade made was being dodged by Kirishima, but not expertly.

Kirishima had become fast after all of this time, but not that fast.

He had been getting grazed by Slade a couple of times, but always managed to avoid a direct hit. However, he could no longer keep it up. Slade broke through his guard and managed an attempt to deliver a powerful darkness-infused punch.
