The entire walk back was torture. Bisky kept giving me suspicious look, Killua looks like someone stole his choco robo and Gon kept asking questions.

"So what happened?"

"I told you a millionth times, I summoned my sword to kill the guy." I replied.

"But that was a clean cut." Bisky pointed out.

"My father taught me how to do that."

"You expect us to believe that?" Killua spoke and I glared at him.

"Why wouldn't you?" I asked back.

"Because I know you better than anyone else."

"Yeah? Like how you're supposed to know that I wanted to summon my father when he died, but you didn't let me." I reminded him and he widened his eyes.

"You could've lost your Nen or something bad could've happened to you!"

"That is better than letting my father die." I breathed out and he became silent.

The tension was heavy between us, and I felt my tears building up from my eyes. I mean, I couldn't really blame Killua for everything. If anything, it was my fault for being weak and Killua did his best protecting me.

"Guys-" Bisky was about to calm us down, but I cut her off.

"I'm sorry." I said and Killua looked me into my eyes, hurt was clearly seen in them. "I was just... I was just devastated when Dylan died and I've been taking it out on you. You only did your best in protecting me and I shouldn't blame you for his death."

"I'm... I'm sorry too, I should've been stronger." I saw Killua trying to hold back his tears, so I walk up to him and pulled him into a hug.

"It's okay, I'm sorry for lashing out at you."

After that, me and Killua had our truce, and it made me feel better.

"Anyways, I want to explore this game on my own. Will you let me?" I turned to Bisky and asked her.

"But it's quite dangerous." She replied.

"Yeah, I know but I can always summon you by my side if I ever need help. I just... I think I need this for myself, please?" After a while, Bisky sighed in defeat and nodded.

"Fine, but summon me as soon as you find yourself in danger, okay?"

"Sure, thank you."

The moment I was out of sight, I let out a sigh. I only asked to explore alone because I know Feitan is still nearby and if Bisky discovers him, then it's the end for me.

Bisky could probably take him on, but I don't want to explain to the Troupe of how Feitan died by the hand of my friend. Was I underestimating Feitan too much?

"Okay..." I murmured. "Time to find this midget."

I started looking for Feitan, trying to sense presence but that guy leaves no opening. Then eventually, a sneeze.

The sound came from somewhere ahead, so I pushed through the trees and stopped. A lake stretched before me, the water reflected the orange evening sky, and it would have been beautiful, if there wasn't a certain Spider sitting beside it.

There he was, sitting near the shore with his arms crossed probably plotting how to torture his next victim.

"There you are."

His eyes opened.

"Tch."

"What do you mean 'tch'?"

He looked away. I walked over and sat beside him. The two of us stared at the lake for a moment.

"Why are you following me?" I asked him but he didn't answer.

A bird chirped somewhere as if sensing our awkward silence.

"I asked a question." I spoke.

"Know." He said and I turned to him.

"...Know what?"

"You weak."

I immediately glared at him. "I am not weak."

Feitan finally looked at me, the expression on his face clearly said otherwise that he was belittling me.

Rude

"You literally followed me into Greed Island even though you went in first." I pointed out.

"Coincidence."

"You're a terrible liar."

"Not lie."

"It is literally impossible for this to be a coincidence."

"Tch."

I pointed at him.

"See? You do that every time you're losing an argument. Tch your face!"

Feitan looked genuinely offended. Before he could respond, he sneezed. Then again, then another.

My eyes widened, I thought he was faking it earlier.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"No problem." His voice sounded rough.

Much rougher than usual. I mean his voice is literally rough all the time, but this was rougher. I stared at him then reached toward his forehead. The moment my hand touched his skin, I froze.

I didn't even realize that I've touched him without him wanting to slice my hand off.

"You're burning up, are you sick?" I said.

Feitan immediately swatted my hand away.

"No."

"You are though."

"No."

"Feitan, you're literally boiling and sneezing."

"Tch."

That was not a valid argument. I moved closer to get a better and his face slightly flushed.  Now that I paid attention to it, I noticed that his breathing wasn't normal and there were faint dark circles beneath his eyes.

"Well well well, who knew someone like you could get sick?"

"Shut up." He glared at me.

"Well that's a story I must tell Shalnark the next time I see him." I laughed and he was about to say something, but another sneeze interrupted him.

I stared at him and he stared at me.

"You ridiculous." He stood up, but his body started swaying.

For the first time since I'd met him, genuine surprise crossed his face just for a second. The next moment, he fell forward straight into me.

"FEITAN?!" I barely caught him and the impact nearly knocked me over. "Feitan!"

I looked to him and saw that his eyes were closed. I felt his body burning hot and his breathing uneven. I touched his forehead again and the temperature was ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous.

"How long have you been like this?" I asked myself as I start to worry about his healthy.

I looked down at the feared Phantom Troupe member currently passed out in my arms, then at the empty forest, then back at him.

"...You saved me earlier from that guy while having a fever? How could you not faint back then..."

Silence. A soft breeze blew across the lake and Feitan remained unconscious.

"You're such an idiot." And for the first time since meeting him, the terrifying Feitan looked surprisingly human.
