26- More Than This

Marcus' Pov

We just got home from the date, we were getting ready to watch a movie. I changed into warm ups and a white t-shirt. I stepped out of the closet and smiled at Emily who was lying on the bed already. She changed into pink warm-ups that had a white hearts on them, they looked really soft. She also had a white sweater on that had a black heart on it. She had taken her makeup off and she still looked just as beautiful as before, heck she looked even more beautiful without it.

"What movie do you wanna watch?" I asked her as I made my way to the Tv, since I had a Dvd player in my room we decided to watch it in here instead of the living room. "I'm in the mood for a comedy" She said smiling widely, her smile brightening the room. I couldn't help but do a happy dance in my mind because I thought she would have said chick flick, I am tired of chick flicks. Bella used to make me watch them all the time. "Grown ups?" I asked picking up the Dvd. Her smile grew even more wide and she nodded quickly. "I love that movie" She said.

"I do also" I said popping the Dvd into the slot and pushing it in, the screen soon asking if I wanted to play it or watch deleted scenes. I grabbed the remote and hit play, I laid down next to Emily and our arms were touching. She scooted in closer to me and laid her head on my neck. I couldn't help but smile at her actions. I grabbed her hand that was brushing against mine and began rubbing small, circles on it.

"I'm Horny too!" We both said in unison as the scene came up, we both burst into laughter at accuracy.

(Haha I don't know ↑↑)

Through the whole movie we had been laughing and saying almost all the lines, us usually saying the same ones at perfect timing causing us to laugh even harder. We threw popcorn at each other and she even covered my face with a pillow when the scene where the girls are wearing a bikini. Which I blushed at but since I had a pillow covering my face she didn't see.

"Thanks for taking me to that park by the way... its was sweet" she said blushing and looking down at her hands, her hair falling down so it covered her red cheeks. I tilted her head up and my eyes flashed from hers to her lips, I began to lean in slowely until our lips were brushing against each others. "Thank you for staying with me" I whispered before pressing my lips against hers, they moved slowely but in sync. It wasn't as heated as it was at the park, but it was still just as sweet and meaningful. I slowely began to pull away as I leaned my forehead against hers, our eyes never leaving each others.

"Goodnight Marcus" She whispered, laying her head on the pillow, I did the same as I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her close to me. "Night Em" I said kissing her temple and laying my head on the soft pillow. But not closing my eyes. I brushed her hair softly and when she finally fell asleep I mumbled quietly.

"I love you"

Emilys Pov

I shifted in my sleep when I began to feel uncomfortable and cold. I opened my tired eyes and noticed Marcus missing. I sat up in bed and checked to see if the light to the bathroom was on. Nothing. I bit my lip until I heard the light strumming of a guitar. I unwrapped my body from the blankets and made my way towards the door, pressing my ear against it. The sound of the guitar getting louder. I opened the door slowely and saw the guest bedroom light was on. I stepped out and walked slowly towards the room, the sound becoming more clear and angelic. The light sound of Marcus' voice becoming clear as well. The door was opened a bit so I peeped in. Marcus' body was faced away from the door so I pushed the door open a bit more.

"If I'm louder, Would you see me?

Would you lay down

In my arms and rescue me?

Cause we are. The same.

You save me,

When you leave its gone again"

"That's beautiful" I said softly walking in more until I was next to him. He placed his guitar down and pulled me onto his lap. "Please, I suck at singing" He said chuckling. "Your not that bad" I said shrugging. "Wanna sing with me then?" He asked with a grin. I shrugged and he smiled taking it as a yes. He picked up his guitar and I sat next to him on the bed. He began strumming his guitar again, he started singing where he had left off at.

"And then I see you on the street,

in his arms I get weak.

My body fails I'm on my knees.

Prayin'."

I joined him in the chorus.

"When he opens his arms and holds you close tonight.

It just wont feel right.

Cause I can love you more than this. 'Yea'

When he lays you down

I might just die inside.

Cause I can love you more than this"

We both sang, deciding to stop there.

"Couldn't sleep?" he asked changing the topic and standing up, lifting me up as well.

"No not exactly" I said hitting my lip hoping he didn't ask the follow up question.

"So how come you woke?"

I blushed deeply and quietly said "I didn't feel you next to me" He smiled and we just continued walking to the room.

We feel asleep again, me in his arms. His body gave me a sense of warmth and safety. I loved it. Our legs tangled together and my head laid on his chest. My eyes closed instantly and sleep took over my body.
