Irene slept deeply, but even in sleep, there was no peace.

She found herself standing in a place consumed by flames.

The sky above her was black, choked with smoke, while fire raged across the ground. The palace she knew had become nothing but a burning ruin.

A ghostly voice echoed through the flames.

Her heart dropped.

She turned around.

There, among the fire, was Libby.

Irene desperately tried to reach them, but her feet would not move.

Slowly everyone she knows, die in agony.

She screamed until her throat hurt.

She slowly turned around.

Dacia stood among the flames.

Her face was twisted into a cruel smile, her eyes glistening with tears of blood.

"Everyone should die!"

Dacia laughed again.

"Die-!"

The flames suddenly rose higher.

Irene watched helplessly as the people she loved disappeared beneath them.

"No! NO!"

She screamed.

Irene jolted awake.

Her chest heaved violently as she struggled to breathe.

For several seconds, she simply stared into the darkness, unable to distinguish reality from the nightmare.

Her trembling hand immediately went to the necklace around her neck.

It was still there.

She gripped it tightly.

"A dream..."

Her voice trembled.

"It was only a dream..."

But her heart refused to believe it.

Irene slowly looked to her side.

Nickolai was still there, asleep.

It seemed that sometime during the night, she had fallen asleep beside him.

She stared at him for a moment. He seems to be having trouble sleeping also.

As he frowned in his sleep.

Her expression immediately hardened.
