In the interrogation room, the sound of punches, slapping and kicking started to quietened down.
All of the women prisoner, grew weaker for using too much of their strength.
Their beating are less painful.
Irene almost lost her consciousness due to the pain. But now, it bearable. She could still hold on.
"Stop!" Lord Pato ordered.
All of the women stopped.
Lord Pato stood up from his sit, then walked towards Irene.
He looks at her miserable state. Seeing the bruises on her body, Lord Pato felt very fulfilled.
"Have you decided to change your mind?" He asks as he crouch down.
Irene remains silent, as she took the chance to breathe.
It took a lot of her strength to endure the pain she felt. Her condition made breathing hard to do.
"I suggest you give in, or you'll just suffer the same torment all over again. Just give up. There's no hope for you." Lord Pato stated, wanting to break her spirit. To show that she had no way to escape.
Still, Irene remains quiet. She's too focused on holding on herself from losing her consciousness.
Suddenly, she felt a sharp and cramped pain in her stomach.
"Hmmp!" She cries.
The pain began to intensified.
Looking at her condition, Lord Pato then stood up.
He knew he wouldn't get any confession from her today.
"Take her back into her cell." He ordered.
The guards carried her back into her cell.
The old physician and his assistant were summoned back to give her treatment.
After that, the guards gave Irene and Libby a small amount of food, to prevent them to die from starvation.
The next day, Irene was tortured using the same method.
She will be severely beaten by the women prisoners until she loses her consciousness.
And then, she will be treated.
The vicious cycle repeated and wouldn't stop until Irene confessed.
The amount of time a physician were called upon to the prison, eventually makes outsiders took notice.
Worried that such news will reach to the minister, Lord Pato decided to stop the torment for awhile.
No one had expected the crown princess would endure such torture.
Irene laid down on the ground with her battered and bruised body.
She having a hard time to rest.
Irene could only endure the muscle pain of her body.
Her body grew cold.
That one night, she had a dream.
A voice...
A similar voice...
