Two weeks before tryouts I had everything planned out, becoming captain on the varsity soccer team. Attempting to stay out of trouble but we both know that's most likely not going to happen. As people know me has the laid back type of gal. I'm not usually the type to stick my nose in anyone's business because, I could care less. Don't like it ? Well that's just me, get over it.
" Aye Tobin " called a familiar voice, from behind snapping Tobin to her sense. " What's up? Get bored messing with the cheerleader about their hairspray?" Tobin asked practically laughing under her breath. It was one of her closest friends "Ashlyn." Ashlyn is known to be taken as my partner in crime. We are practically inseparable, if you don't see her with me then she's normal flirting with "Ali" a senior and defender on the girl varsity soccer team. "Well they needed to know that those "haircare products of theirs were going to melt their brains" Ashlyn joked lightly nudging her best friend's' arm
None taken relationship are overrated for me. I just don't get why relationship are a big deal to other people. Once you find someone you basically change, and then sometimes realize how they can change in quick moment. As for Ashlyn she loves the idea of being in a relationship even though she ends up falling for these girls less than a month, but the crazy thing is her and Ali has this crazy thing going on for two years now.
After sharing a laugh, the two began to walk to class. " so hey, did you hear that rumor going around school?" asked Ash looking dumb founded her best friend turned to face her " what rumor?" asked Tobin "Well... that celebrity that plays soccer for world championships or whatever is coming to our school." Ash explained looking back at her best friend intensely " Apparently she has some to do an interview for a sports magazine, you know celebrities and their publicity." As Tobin looks confused she just nodded her head at Ash, not actually paying attention to what her friend was telling her. Tobin's mind was somewhere else then she realize that her classmates started yelling a name from behind.
The name rang in her ears as if it were a song being played. A beautiful song that those lovey dovey couples would label as "their song". "Alex." Although, there were over 30 different Alex's in the school, none of those girls names have ever been chanted before. In conclusion this Alex must be different than all those other girls. As if a gust of wind hit her body, A thought crossed her mind 'what if "Alex" is the name of that celebrity that's supposed to be visiting our school.' Irritated with disbelief she pushed the thought out of her head.
