My Days With Alex

What Dinner

Alex's POV
I had to leave ahead of time so my mom doesn't get mad at me. I went home early that morning, but I hated it. I dislike seeing my mom acting all caring for Tobin now.

"How is she?" She asked me as I rolled my eyes.

"Fine mom" I say as I walked upstairs.

"Alex!" She says as I turned around.

"What" I say.

"Look I'm trying here. I saw how that affected you. We are having a family dinner invent her please Alex" she tells me.

"Okay can I go back to bed now?" I asked as she nodded, and I walked upstairs and crashed on my bed.

Tobin's POV
I woke up because Alex left it took me a while to go back to sleep. As I closed my eyes, I got a text message from "River."

"Tobin can we talk"

I didn't reply as I said screw it and got out of bed. I wrapped my leg in a plastic bag as I sit in the tub to take a shower. Once I was done I was struggling trying to get dressed to for the day. I wished Alex didn't have to leave ugh her mom makes me mad.

I hung out with my grandpa as he made breakfast and made feel like home again. It was quite not that awkward silence but a calm feeling. I continued to eat and watch the news with him as I got a texted message from Alex's dad.

"Tobin we will love it if you came to dinner with us tonight"

I smiled and replied "yes sir I would love to"

"Who was that" I hear him say.

"Umm Alex's parents want me to join them for family dinner" I tell him as he nodded.

I saw him get up, and I knew he was leaving maybe he's going to ranch house. I smiled that he isn't concerned that much with me unlike Alex.

I must of felled sleep because my phone was going off the wall. I picked it up and I got 3 miss calls, five messages and a Twitter notification. I saw Jeff, Alex, River, Ash and Hope texting me, as for the phone calls was River, Alex and Jeff. I scanned through the messages, and all I know one wants to meet up. Two want to hang out, and the my girlfriend is coming over soon.

What she's on her way why. I'm half asleep and she is just going to tease me until we leave to go to her house. I hear a knock on the door as I struggle to get up with crutches to answer the door.

"Hey babe" I say

"Hi" she says as she pressed her lips to mine.

I pulled away to let her inside as I closed the door I looked at the time, and it's noon. "What are we going to do until dinner time?" I asked

"I don't know you don't want me here?" She asked me with her eyebrow frown.

"Of course, course I do it's just there is nothing to do I have one leg" I tell her hopping back to the couch.

"Let me help and really just cause you got one leg doesn't mean anything" she says as she helps me to the couch.

"Yeah it does this cast sucks. I can't walk, no soccer, hell Alex, I can't even get down to the ground" I harshly say at her as she just laughed at me.

"What's so funny" I say

"Nothing just how mad you are because you can't get to the ground. I mean you can you just need help getting up" she said into my eyes as I give her a fake smile.

"Haha Alex you know what I mean" I tell her as she seats next to me.

"Yup and still you can hold off" she giggles when she said that.
