My Days With Alex

Game Time Part One

This week was intense, our first soccer game on Friday, people asking me how I got lucky with Alex. I picked up Alex every morning for school, we walk in together, sometimes with the gals too. Ashlyn pulled me aside and told Alex "sorry I need to talk to her before class starts", Alex nodded and went back to her conversation with Syd. I was walking with Ash and the first thing she said "I need your help to at least get a date Ali, like a real one. Come Tobin i don't know how you did it with Alex for a person who doesn't or never wanted a relationship in her life." I laughed at her and replied "well people change, and fine I'll help you get a official date with Ali." We walked to class and we actually on time and for the first I sat up front because that's where my girlfriend was sitting in the front.

Mr. Austin knew something wasn't right with me because he question me about me sitting in the front. I smiled and said "well maybe I want to get a good test score" I chuckled and then felt a jab in right side and when I looked it was Alex being serious at me. When class was done all I wanted to do was kiss her but she didn't want to get in trouble for pda. So I had to wait either at lunch or at practice. The whole day dragged and when it was practice time I totally forgot that there is scouts in today's practice. At lunch I became nervous and the gals knew something was up and Alex grabbed my hand and said "let's go, and talk." We left the table and she asked "what is wrong?" I told her quickly "scouts are here today, my dream school and you have a chance to get notice as a soccer player not an actress." She smiled and said "okay but you have to stay calm and yes your are right about one thing I rather be known has a soccer player." I grabbed her and tilted her head so I could put my lips to her, we kissed passionately before headed to Mrs. Hamilton class room.

After school came, I saw a few coaches, from Cal, UCLA, USC, and others, but the main one was UNC. I walked to the locker room and say Lauren ready to embarrass them, and I saw other seniors do the same thing. I felt a hand on my side and she asks "you are still a junior, you still have options and time before you choose. Also let's have fun on that field today agree." Nodded and replied "thanks Lex, and I will." We walked on the pitch together and started on passing drills before coach Ellis pull her whistle and huddle us together. I put my hand on Alex's back while listening to coach. "already a new season, so let's have a strong get practice okay, go stretch and yes we do have college scouts today so please do your best." We got out of huddle and stretched. Coach separate us by groups, forwards by the goal, midfielders in the middle by the cones and defender with forwards and finally the goalies at the end at the other goal. It was a strong practice, I loved my performance I had today and also Alex's of courses. Before headed to the locker room UNC wanted to talk to me and Cal I was shocked and excited. I thought to myself "see I don't need you dad I can do this on my own." I walked to the UNC coach first "hello I'm Tobin Heath." He replied "yes I know who you are and I want to watch for these season and your senior year. You are creative with the ball and the moves you make and I hopefully one day you will sign to UNC." Before he left I shook his hand and answered "yes sir and thank you." I was walking to find the Cal coach but when I looked over I saw my good friend Lauren talking to UCLA coach and I knew she was getting in. Once I found Cal coach he was talking to Alex and I was surprised about it but in a good way. Maybe if she really wants to go play soccer we could go at the same school I thought to myself. I let their conversation ended before talking to him. I heard "there the midfielder I was looking, Tobin right?." I nodded and he keep talking "so you are so skillful in that position and the way you find your forwards are amazing too. I would love you to come out and train with us one day before your senior year and decide what college you are going to okay." I repiled "thank you and I think about it." He walked away and I went looking for Alex.

I saw sitting on my hood of my car, "hey babe, what you thinking about?" I asked her in a gentle tone. She got off the car and hugged tightly, as I felt warm air come out of her breath say "I have two colleges looking at me, but see I'm still an actress I can't have both." I grabbed her waist, looked at her with no hesitation "Lex you can do whatever you want, but I know you and especially i can see your passion for this sport." As i pressed my lips to her and kissed her and she kissed back before pulling away. She got in the vehicle and I tooked her home immediately. She said "I do love the sport but I don't think my parents wants me to give up acting." Before she jump out of car and headed to her house door. I was stunned when she said that, but I knew this was going to be tough one to break. When I got home I check my phone, I had four messages from Ash, Jeff (brother), mom and dad. Dad I thought, what does he want, I read his message "Tobin I'm sorry, what I said you are not pathetic, you are great at something. I just don't like who you are and I just don't want a pretty face destroy your life either." I was perplexed wan out what sent me but at that moment I didn't care, I was still mad at him. I had a game coming up in two days and plus I gotta help Ash get a date with Ali.
