My Days With Alex

Unexpected Lunch

                             Alex Pov

  After the locker incident I could tell that I made her feel flustered,and it was kinda cute. I walked to the cafeteria suddenly feeling someone tap my shoulder, the mysterious stranger said "hi my name Sydney but u can call me Syd." It took me by surprise cause I wasn't expecting to really make friends, but I managed to do just that within the first couple of hours. First I met Kelley, she has brown hair and freckles on her face. Now I meet this girl named Syd, she has a tattoo on her right arm. It stood out like a pimple, so I knew I couldn't miss her in the crowd. I smiled at her and said "hey I guess u know who I am, but if you don't I'm Alex." She laugh and said "yes I do anyways since you are new, you should come to lunch with me, and meet more people." I just nodded and followed her to the cafeteria.

Hey gals said Syd "so I meet someone I think y'all know who she is, but if you don't it's the one and only Alex Morgan" I looked around and I saw that these gals are more than ordinary teenagers. From behind I heard a voice, that I knew belonged to Kelley. She took it upon herself to sit next to me. I turned to her and said " nice seeing you again Kelley" she looked back at and said " I should have told you just call me KO" I looked and just laugh.
    I ended up meeting some other gals as well. There was a girl name Megan Rapinoe aka Pinoe, and another named Abby Wambach who was a senior, and apparently the captain of the girls soccer varsity team. The table became more crowded with the rest of gals that I just couldn't keep up with who was who, but one of them caught my eye. What I saw was just a couple seats away with this beautiful smile I that I remember seeing in one of my classes. When I walked away from her locker, I knew it was the one and only Ms. Heath. I turned my head and saw her talking to two other people Amy Rodriguez aka A-Rod, and another girl who goes by Lauren Cheney aka Cheney. I knew I didn't want her to catch me staring, so I retreated back to KO and Syd and the other gals conversation. When lunch was over I told Syd "I meet you later" she nodded and said "see you later."

I was walking around before going to class and then I saw her she was standing alone staring outside the window in the cafeteria. I yelled at her for her attention and she turned and said "you again, you know you never got my name" I laugh and looked down when I looked up at her, she was not facing me, I took that moment to heart but finally ask her "so what is your name anyways since you just didn't tell me?" She smiled and turned to me and said "Tobin." I just said "okay Tobin so let me guess you are those people who don't talk much?." She turned to me with that same smiled and said "maybe, but like what you told me early at my locker, I don't think we want be late to class, now do we?."
      I paused and I knew what she was doing, she was trying to act like this cool, chilled person but I know deep down I knew she has to be the biggest sweetheart. She was slowly walking away and she turned and yelled at me "HEY LET'S GO, OR WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE!!" I snapped myself back to reality and called out "coming!" I ran next her, and it was silence walk to class. The next thing I notice, the bell rang, and I knew we were both late for class.
