Tobin's POV
This moment is the best, having Alex right by my side. I couldn't believe that we stayed in bed most of the day. We did have a few conversations about the future, college and random things. It was soothing to have this day with her, even if we did it multiple times. Being tangled together and only sheets on us, it was nice, but I knew I had to take her home.I loved her tan body, long brown hair, her heartbeat on me and her beautiful blue eyes. Right now, she's asleep, and I exactly woke up a few minutes ago and I just really didn't want to leave this. I heard a phone and I was amusing it was mine, so I slip out of Alex's present. I put on my shorts and sport bra before checking my phone no message or notification, so I knew it was Alex's phone. I didn't want to go threw her phone, but it wouldn't shut up. I saw it was from dad, and Jeri all saying, "where are you? Mom is tripping out!" I saw a lot of miss calls from mom, and I got nervous and walked on Alex's side of the bed.
"Lex babe wake up" I say in a not worry voice. She turned and put the covers over her head, great she's so tired and passed out right now. I didn't know what to do, so I decided to leave the room and get something to drink. I heard a phone ring and without checking I answered it "hello" I say. "Alex is that you?" I was confused I was like this is mine phone and look down and saw this was Jeri and not mine phone. "Hi Jeri, this is Tobin, and before you say anything she's a sleep" I tell her sister. "Tobin where ya yall? And mom is about to call the cops of, she's not here soon" I her sister says in a panic voice. "Jeri we will be there soon, and you can't tell your mom, I'm at my ranch house" I say as I was walking up the stairs and saw Alex still sound asleep. "Okay Tobin but hurry" she said before hanging up.
"Alex Wake Up!" I yell as she jumps and threw a pillow at me. "Damn Tobin why so loud" she said as I saw not a happy face on her. "Get dressed like now" that's all I could say as she gave me a perplexed face. "Tobin why? Is everything okay? The helpers want us out?" She just asked me this question as I walked towards and took her hand. "No, maybe unless you consider cops are okay" I say as she looked into my eyes and said, "cops? Tobin just tell me." "Fine Alex your mom is about to call the cops. Here's your phone" she takes her phone and saw the messages and then got up and put on some clothes.
"Ugh sorry Tobin I didn't think this would happen" she tells me in a low voice and waking outside. I shut the door and lock the door before getting into my vehicle. "It's fine Lex, we knew we had to leave soon any ways" I say as I looked into her blue eyes and started the ignition. I pulled out of the driveway and was on the long road as I looked at a sleepy girl in the passenger seat. "You can go to sleep, and you could have told me to stop you knew that I love spending my days with you not just cause of sex" I tell her and smiled at her. She grew a smile before saying, "I know but Tobs it was all perfect though." I smiled and keep my eyes on the road and took a quick glance at her and saw she was asleep.
I was maybe a mile away from the city, and I guess you could say another 45 minutes far from her house. It was just a sleeping girl and the radio going on, and I normally listen to country music, and I heard this song. It was Jason Aldean and I just started singing out loud.
"We ain't even turned up the radio, Baby two miles down the road. The way you look at me baby I don't know, if we even gonna make it to the party. Yeah we gotta whole lot of moon light left. Already have the time of my live, and we're just getting started tonight. Girl you already got the wind down, And you got your seat laid back. I ain't even make it halfway to town, And you already talking about a 6 pack.
Already got your shoes off, and you're talking about slippin' off. No we ain't even found your friends saying, you already wanna get lost." I sang out loud and then heard the most adorable laugh. I turned and saw her eyes on me, and I smiled and realize I was almost at her house."Nice singing Tobin and I thought you didn't like country music" she says as I laughed before saying, "well, I guess you just learn something new from me." As I pulled into her driveway and saw her mom standing out there. I parked the car and then her saw her mom moving really quickly towards the truck I freaked out and got really tense. Alex got out of the vehicle, and I truly wanted to back out really quick. I saw yelling and then her mom exactly pointed at me and yelled at me "get out of the truck Tobin now!" I took off my seatbelt and got out and said, "I'm sorry mrs. Morgan, we just lost time" I lied to her because we didn't want to see her mom yet. "Get inside Alex and you Tobin ugh leave, I can't talk to you right now" she tells me as I said goodbye to Alex. "I'm so sorry Pam" I say as I get back in the truck and thought to myself "why didn't she just say that to me at the window of my car?" As I backed out of her driveway, and then I smiled because her mom won't be happy seeing those hickeys on her daughter.
I was smiling all the way back to my house, and I saw a vehicle there, and it was a new car. At first, I thought it was Jeff or Katie, but next I saw my dad walking out of the house I backed up a little, so he knew it was not me. I was boiling up with angry when he left my house. I watched him leave and then pulled in, I got out and open the door. "Why was he here?" I ask as my grandpa stood there with his arms crossed. "You don't get to question me Tobin. Where have you been?" He said and asked me as I calmed down and said, "with Alex and last night was perfect. Sorry I should have told you." I tell him and said, "it's fine, and you look tired get some rest before we speak." He tells me as I left and went up stairs and felled on my bed and passed out.
