My Days With Alex

After Effect

I got up quickly went straight to my phone and search for Tobs in my phone. Without thinking I called her; it took a while until she answered. I must have woken her up, when she said "hello" it was raspy. I replied "hey Tobs. I'm sorry to wake you, but I had to hear her voice to make sure you were decent." She yawned and answers back "babe I'm all good, no harm on my body." Wait I thought to myself. She just called me babe, ugh, and it was her morning voice still when she said it. I replied "did you just call me babe? And I'm so glad that your body is still together." I giggled on the phone. As I heard her yawn again I said, "I let you go, go back to sleep because u did have a long night." It was weird I never called my ex's in the morning like this but with Tobin, it felt so real, and I knew that she had to be my girlfriend. She replied to me and said, "okay Lex, but you woke me up so now I can't sleep, what do you say if I come pick up for breakfast?" I laugh and said, "fine, since I'm hungry so be here in an hour." Before she replied, I hung up the phone and headed to the bathroom to take a shower.

Tobin's POV
I had a phone call from the most beautiful raspy voice this morning. I couldn't believe that she called me to ask if I was fine. I never knew someone can care so much in little of bits of time knowing a person. With Alex, it was so different and a good feeling. I still was surprised, I called her babe, I really didn't know why it just came out of my mouth. When she questions me about, I was red like a tomato. Since she woke me up to the only thing, I knew take her out to get some breakfast. I got out of bed, headed to the shower. I felt queasy. I didn't understand why? Was it because it was like a first date or what? I put on Nike sweatpants, a soccer shirt and my Nike black and white Roshe shoes. I went down stairs my grandpa was standing there and asked, "where are you going this early?" I smiled at him "papa come on. I can't be late I got to take someone to eat." He laughed and shook his head at me and said, "fine have fun, but warning you dad called me so when you get back we got to talk okay." I couldn't believe he wanted to talk to me, and I was wondering if my dad would show up with this talk. I turned to him " yes sir, and maybe one day you will her meet." As I laughed walking out the door.

It look a good twenty minutes to get to Alex's house. I was a couple of minutes early. I got out of the car and knocked on her door. Her sister Jeri answers the door, "hey Tobin I'm surprised to see you hear this early." I smiled, when I walked in "yeah me too." Jeri smiled at me and then I heard the voice that woke me up "umm Tobin, stop smiling at my sister" she joked. I turned around, and my smile grew bigger. Alex had her hair in a ponytail, black leggings and a long sweater to cover her butt, and of course her Nike Roshe's. As she told her sister "we are leaving" she grabs my hand, and we were out the door. We were driving around and she "asked so are you not going to tell me what happen and why are u not at church?" I was startled with that question. When we got to this cafe' small place, I told her "they make pretty good waffles, but mine is better" she laughed at me and replied "oh really" she chuckled at me. We took a sit and I told her what happen, I was about to cry, but she grabbed my hand with a strong grip. She said , let's go somewhere private. I don't think we want anymore press finding us.

She told me where to go, I listened to her and when I stop the car, we were a water tower. She asked if I was scared of heights, nodded and said "no." We climb up there, and we sat with our leg's swinging over the edge, and our hands intertwined together. We talked about our families, like the traditions, vacation's stories. Furthermore, about Alex's acting career and how her lifestyle is so different then compared to mine. I finally said, "I'm not at church because I don't think they want to see me there, since people knew I was the girl kissing you." She looked "oh. I'm sorry this is why I didn't want to find a person to get attached, but I did. I like you Tobin, and I hate that the paparazzi got that shot of us." I tilted her head and press my lips to her and whisper "it's all good, because I have you, and I'm glad that photo finally made me feel like I can be myself now." We were up there for a couple of hours now, and I knew I couldn't stay up here all day cause my grandpa wanted to talk to me, and I keep my word with him. Alex grabbed me and out of nowhere she asked, "Tobin I like you and this is growing so I need to know that this isn't a fling and would you want to be my girlfriend?" I smiled and stared at her deep baby blue eyes and answer back "come on Alex. I like you too and why would I call you babe if it was a fling? Yes Alex I would love to be your girlfriend." I laughed and hold her tight, and we kissed in sync and passion until I heard my phone go off.

Alex gave me this look that I couldn't resist, and I took hand and said, "so we are really in a relationship, and we are girlfriends," I laughed and stared at her, and she smiled back and replied "yes Toby we are." We climb down the water tower and got back in the car, as I was taking her back home, I told her "I'm having this talk with my grandpa, and I think my dad is going to be there." She grabbed my hand from the console, looked at me "Tobin, I'm here for you, all right so whatever happens to don't push me away okay." I nodded and pulled up her hand to my lips and kissed her hand. I got her to her house safely, and she lean over the console and press her lips to mine. It was passionate kiss, and she pulled away and said, "everything is going to be fine, call me later okay." I nodded, replied "yes, Lex talks to you later." She got of the car, and I watch her walk through her door and then drove away.

I was in the driveway at my grandpa's house. I saw another car there, and I automatically knew it was my father's vehicle. I got out and walked in the front door slowly. I heard someone say, "Tobin is that you." I was scared to say something back, but that would be disrespectful if I didn't, "yeah its me." I walked in the living room, and there he was sitting there, focusing himself on me the whole time. I felt like I couldn't breath because the way he was watching me. My grandpa pulled me towards him and said, "take a sit and please do not yell at each other. For you, I would like to have Tobin stay with me until you understand her okay." I was so excited and surprised that my papa stood up for me and wanted me to stay with him. My father, on the other hand, was heated and looks like he wanted to strike at me, but he couldn't cause I think he felt to paralyze. He responded "she can stay with you. She's nothing, but a sin and disgrace to this family any ways. I hope she doesn't get that college scholarship for school, and I hope that celebrity dumb you fast because she will see how pathetic you are." I didn't cry. I got up and said, "well, I'm good enough, for that scholarship, and I don't need your help to get it. I'm the best player I can be and for the celebrity, she is the foremost thing for me, and I won't let you or anyone take us down. I stormed off to my room and slammed my door and automatically called Alex. When we were on the phone, I told her what he said about me, and she was there listening and comforting me. I told her "hold, on" I heard my dad and papa yelling at each other and finally a door slammed and a car driving off. I told her " I'm back, and he left. Do u mind if I met you at the soccer field?" She replied "yes, see you soon. I walked down stairs with my soccer gear ready and my grandpa stopped and said, "I'm proud of you, how you stood up to yourself against him. Oh I would love to meet this young lady okay. Go to practice to be the best. I smiled and hugged him and said, "thank you papa, and yes, you will trust me." I headed to my car and was headed to the soccer field.

There she was, sitting on the bench, tied her cleats. I came back behind her placing my hands over her eyes. She said, "who's this? Tobin?" I laughed, kissed her cheek and her neck. I went around to sit next to her, she smiled and said, "I'm going to bet you on 1v1." I laughed and said "sure." Well, I lost the first game against her, but I just let her win to be honest. She did this slide tackle on me and when we felled I was on top of her. I decide why not and leaned in and kissed her. Our lip was in sync. I let my tongue hit her bottom lip. She let me in and was passionate and gently. She pushed me off and started to laugh. I said, "what so funny?" She pointed, and some of our teammates were looking over us. KO and Ash were the first to say, "aww Tobin and Alex are official!" we got up and decided to play 5v5. When we finished our little game, I told Alex "I want you to meet someone, but maybe after our first game okay." She hugged me and said, "yes, I would love too." I kissed her before we headed back home. We all left and when I was headed home, I felt good about this week, mine and Alex's relationship and the game on Friday.
