Unexpected Twist

It was strange to wake up and not have a text from Alex. I would think she would have tried to call or even text me back I notice she read it but no replies. It's not like her but maybe it was a late night. I didn't sleep well at all I was thinking too much about the playoffs, Alex, the unknown teenage boy and my dad. I took a long shower and when I got out and put on clothes, I knew I was going to be late to school. I headed downstairs my grandpa threw me an apple and said, "have a good day" I smiled and walked out the door. I put my bags in the front seat and started the vehicle. Since I was going to be late I already knew Alex found a ride to school, or she took herself. I was upset, she hasn't text me yet at all this morning once I got to school, I saw the same teenage boy around some people I dislike but from afar I saw my beautiful girlfriend walking towards him.

I didn't walk towards her if she wanted to see me or talk to me; she can make the effort to do so. I just sat down on my tailgate, and then I heard a voice say, "hey Tobin why so down" at first, I didn't want to see who it was, but then I saw her beautiful smile in my face. I looked up and saw it was Avery, I smiled and said, "hey Avery and just a little" she sat next to me. She started to say something then I saw Ashlyn walk towards us "hey Avery can I talk to Tobin alone" Avery kissed my cheek and got off the tailgate and walk into the building. Ash took her spot and said, "have you meet him the new kid? He's alright, but I want to know why you are here and not with her." I shrugged my shoulders, and she knew I didn't want to discuss it until I was ready. She said, "okay well, I'm headed to class you coming?" I didn't care anymore so I just walked inside and took my seat in the back of the room in Mrs. Austin classroom. I saw Alex walk in with that boy, and my body temperature was slowly boiling up when he was next to her and when his hand touches her arm and back.

Once class started I didn't care I wasn't focused at all, and I just wanted to walk out. This new kid name Servando who is a spoiled rich brat was taking the spotlight, and the girls were dreamy about him. I got up real quick and walked out of class and slammed the door. I walked out and must of have been walking fast because I ran into this girl. I help her up and said "sorry" she smiled and said, "it's okay, and you are Tobin right?" I was surprised, she knew who I was I nodded, and she said, "my name is Blair" I smiled and said, "I need to get out of here see you around, I guess" leaving her in the middle of the hallway.

I got back into my truck, and then my phone vibrates it was Ashlyn saying, "babe what's wrong and what didn't you see me this morning? This is Alex, by the way" I looked at the phone like bitch please and slammed it on my console. Before backing out I saw this figure standing, and I knew it was Blair just looking at me. I stop the truck rolled the window down and said, "hey why are you leaving school early?" She smiled and said, "I let you know if I can ride with you" I just laughed and nodded she opens the door and got in. I said, "where to now?" She laughed and said, "um excellent question what about that small joint a couple of blocks away" I nodded, and I knew which one she was talking about. I drove straight there, and I knew this can be pleasant or sour plus, I had to talk Alex too.

Alex P.O.V
I woke up and knew I had to call Tobin before I could actually call her my mom came to my room and said, "morning and Servando is downstairs and oh, I want you to keep your phone here for today." I looked at her and said, "seriously mom why? Like there is no point I haven't done anything wrong." She held her hand out, and I turned my phone off and handed it to her. I went and took a quick shower and got dressed, I walked down and saw Servando waiting. He was attractive but I only had my eyes on Tobin nobody else he was generous to take me to school I nodded, and we walked out of my house. We got to school, and I went straight to the gals I ask if Tobin was here they all told me no. I guess she slept in or something took her forever. I decided to introduce Servando to some of the gals, and I saw he made friends quickly.
